  2. they look strong enough however they lack the ability to stay at 90 degrees to the boat and that would scare me away.
  3. too many variables that effect the amount of pull including speed, current, size of divers, etc. What are you using for rod holders? Maybe we can answer your the question on if the rod holders are good enough.
  4. Olcott, Oak Orchard, Bald Eagle, Sandy Creek are all amazing choices. Niagara, Orleans, and western Monroe County are the place to be in July.
  5. Could be. What it means is we should have a larger amount of good water vs the typical year where its extremely tight to shore. You should be able to fish a bit deeper and find plenty of hungry fish. Im expecting to see lots of Kings around out of my home port in that time frame.
  6. Plenty of browns around then... however with the weather trend things will probably be more like early May fishing
  7. This was held in Pulaski, NY. No info yet on a 2025 event however details will probably be announced in fall of this year. Keep an eye out for the 2025 Great Lakes Trolling School. Follow me on Facebook for the announcement.
  8. Thanks for the kind words and appreciate you guys coming!

Whether its lead, wire, copper, fluoro, mono, steel https://bloodrunfishing.com/ Leadcore is a stealthy presentation to begin with. I run a 36' leader with my leadcore. I replace it once it gets down to about 20'ish

  21. I will admit that upgrading the drags is awesome however I have been told that straight out of the box they are solid now.
  22. According to my Okuma Rep the sticky drag issue was finally resolved. After years and years of back and forth with them I was told the resolved the issue. With that being said both the coldwaters and convectors have the same drag. I have used both as diver reels and they both do the job however I prefer the Convector 30 high speed personally. I never have liked the "looks" of the coldwaters.
