Well I woke up this morning at six assuming today's weather hadn't changed and today was a complete wash out. Wrong! Rain doesn't look like it will hit here until 11ish. I had to take my clothes out of the washer and throw them in the dryer. Totally not expecting to hunt this morning. Full throttle and managed to get in the stand by 7. October 30 pm 54 degrees NE wind 5-15 becoming calm Cloudy Good sit this pm. Past on two borderline bucks. One bumped the fawns that were bedded by me. He then bedded there for two hours. About 535 I noticed a buck in the adjacent field. Put glass on him and realized he was decent. I watched as he worked a scrape on the field edge. After he was finished he made his way down the field and into the woods but headed in my direction. I gave him 10 minutes or so to pop out into my field but he didn't. So I did a 10-15 second rattling sequence and waited. Ten minutes later he popped out of the woods and walked to my tree. Amazing how keen their sense of hearing really is. He got a pass. Big body and well outside the ears but lacked height. Probably 110" or so. Great experience to say the least. It's game on! Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Been on stand since 3. Sat down and noticed 2 fawns bedded 30-40 yards away. No idea how they didn't notice me. 20 minutes later 2 5 year old buck bumps them of their beds. And now he is bedded where the doe fawn was bedded. His head is behind a tree and all I see is body. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

October 30 am 48 degrees NW wind 5 mph Cloudy skies Good morning to be in the woods. Pretty sure I bumped a mature buck this morning walking in. Giant body and he absolutely stunk. Too darker to see a rack. 15 deer or so. 7 bucks total this morning including another mature buck around 9 or so. Two episodes of minor chasing. Covered up in deer this morning. Bumped a rutted up, stinky buck on the walk in. Acorns are dropping like crazy. I never realized how many mature oaks were actually in here. I learning now that I should have hung a stand here sooner than this year. No doubt I overlooked it. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

October 29 pm 66 degrees WSW wind 5-7 mph Partly sunny Warm sit. One of the warmest this season so far. Mature buck sighting about 515ish but otherwise really quiet until after sunset. Saw another 15 deer mostly does/fawns but one small buck. Bumped a few other on the walk out also. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app

October 29 am 44 degrees SW wind 5-15 Clear skies Very uneventful morning. Literally nothing but one squirrel this morning. Checked both cameras for the first time this year on this property and they are still both showing most of the activity is in the pm. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
