Lol. Apparently I never set my alarm so I woke up 20 minutes late. I got about 10 steps from the truck before I realized that I needed to grab my bow. It's like riding a bike... Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Wow! Just like that the season is here. October 1st is a day away. It is almost time for the grind to begin. The marathon also known as deer season. By the sounds of it, my wife isn't real happy to see deer season here. No doubt she enjoys the fishing season and the boat more so than hunting season. My advice... Have a plan and execute it. By plan, I mean a literal plan. Know your sets. Know when to hunt them. Know the what winds are best for them. Be disciplined. Be smart. Be safe. Not sure if you guys have seen these but I bought three of them the other day. I have two spots that I wish I had a licking branch and this gives me the opportunity to put one within bow shot distance from the stand.

Need a good weather site for hunting?
They do have a app but the desk top version is much better.

The clock is ticking!!! Washing all the hunting clothes today. Prepping my pack. Planning on doing some last minute stand visits today also. I feel soooo far behind.
Back at it this afternoon with some season prep. Hung a new set along with three cameras. Did some scouting from behind the wheel of my truck as I drove the entire property tonight. I gotta sneak back onto the property and hang one more set. Found a spot tonight that apparently I was over looking. So late getting some of this done. Just too damn busy to get everything done. Last charter of the year is tomorrow and I'm planning to haul the boat out next week. After that it's game on. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Lake flipped but it's fighting its way back. 42 degrees on the beach when I came in today. Water was blown to bits. I'll be offshore again. Saw 625 off Bald Eagle today. Sent from my moto z4 using Lake Ontario United mobile app
