  1. Last spring I was able to catch these at will for about 2 weeks. Sometimes 2 at a time under a bobber on an ultralight. Couldn't get the program dialed in this year. Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. I would highly encourage a compression check before you spend money on anything else... Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Ugh. I had the same problem with my Force. Those motors are very prone to piston coking. I had to have mine rebuilt. Probably not a good investment. I would try a compression check as a next step. Good luck.
  4. Does the motor crank over easily when it won't start?
  5. I have a couple. Send me a PM. I'll be in Henrietta most days this week. Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Price lowered to $800. Sent from my SM-G935V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Quick report. Fished near Maxwell in 15-22 FOW. All water we found was gin clear. You could easily see bottom in 25'. Still didn't end up too bad going 5 for 7. All fish caught were browns, released to enjoy on another day. Lost 1 laker at the back of the boat and the other felt like a decent brown. Surprised how few boats are in the marinas. Quite a few on the water though. Hope to be back out this weekend. Best fish from Sunday:
  8. Bumping back up now that water is opening...
  9. My Simrad AP24 works pretty awesome. No complaints here.
  10. 2015 was not a great year for Brads for me, but I run them quite a bit. Some days are better than others. Brads has accounted for some of our biggest fish on some days and our latest fish of the morning on others. Summer Kings seem like the best target. I run chunk tuna in oil, but may need to try anchovies. Change the hooks! Stock hooks suck...
  11. What model rigger? I use 16 lb torpedo weights on my 2 probe riggers with no issue. The motherboard controls relays that control the motor. I'm not sure how the weight is destroying the motherboard, unless motor heat is the issue.
  12. A couple questions: Will there be a Speed version available? Can the data be pushed to an XML or CSV or any other open format that can be imported to a SQL table? Jim
  13. I got out yesterday for a few hours. All of these I wanted. Didn't see a keeper all day.
  14. I don't disagree with you. There are rumors of DEC perusing social media sites for issuing tickets, etc. Just making you aware...

  16. Umm, are you sure you want to post that on a public web-site? From: http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/47282.html Restricted Baitfish SpeciesCarp, goldfish, lamprey larvae, round goby, as well as species listed as endangered or threatened in New York State may not be used for bait.
  17. Yep. We realized that AFTER we let her go... Sent from my SM-G920V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. We were out there with you this morning. Did a quick trip from 6-11. We went 5 for 5, all kings. 3 teenagers and 2 majors, including the one pictured below. I hope we didn't flush $500. It read just over 28 on my scale. It was still pretty spunky so we released it with the others. All fish caught above temp. 50' rigger with mag Sea-Sick Waddler was best. 130' to 180'. Good luck to all.
  19. Did you measure 12V at the connector (center is positive )? Sent from my SM-G920V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. I'm pretty sure the smallies are eating gobies. I catch them suspended. 12-15' divers in 20-25 fow. The occasional sheepshead mixed in. The smallest smallmouth I have caught in the last 2 years is 17". Sent from my SM-G920V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. They are still there, though likely not like they used to be. I will troll slowly (1.2 to 1.6) with my electric pulling medium depth cranks. I have not had any luck casting. I also have not tried senkos, which I think might be worth a shot if gobies leave them alone.
  22. Do you have a voltmeter to test for power at the connector? Dielectric grease is an electrical insulator, and is typically used as a lubricant. You should clean that off of your electrical connectors.
