Similar to what I had. I needed to put an offset bend in the steering linkage, but it worked great. And easy to hook up from inside the boat. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I did something similar to SSZ when I had my kicker. My steering kit came with clamps to hook to steering arm on main motor. I made an L bracket for the kicker. In my opinion, EZ Steer is overly complicated and expensive for outboard to outboard applications. It makes more sense for I/O's. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Nice! I picked up some of those jigs. Not much use yet. If you don't mind me asking, what size and color flatnose minnows? Heading to Canada next weekend, and want to give them a try. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Another great day of fishing out of Sodus. Set up right out front, where the pack all wound up being. Best depth was around 225', with the top 45' producing fish. All rods took fish, spoons off riggers and copper, and flasher/fly on wire dipsy. Brighter colors in stingray and mag sizes worked best. Finished 17 for 22 with 16 kings and 1 laker. Hopefully out again tomorrow.
FWIW, I have had no problem catching walleye the last 2 days. 20+ but no keepers. 10 to 12" walleye are attacking the large size sonar, but not a keeper yet. I have changed my gameplan and ave been catching some nice 12" perch. Just have this afternoon and tomorrow morning left, so any advice is welcome. Can you take a picture of the open one straight on? I can't tell if there is anything in there... Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Thanks. This week last year I did really well with Sonars off of Sylan beach. A couple raps today but no takers. Found some perch and a bonus pike around Cleveland Bar. No walleye yet. Ran out to Shackleton to find a boat out of gas. Towed them in and now taking a break. Hopefully I'll find them later. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Anyone been on Oneida lately? Fished yesterday afternoon and this morning so far with no joy... Any help appreciated. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
Shakedown trip today. Set up near Maxwell and trolled past Pultneyville. Best action between Hughes and Pultneyville. Went 10 for 12 with 9 Kings and a bonus Smallmouth. Best depth around 30-35 ft. No browns in mix. Sea sick wadler SS on slide diver was most productive at 2.2 SOG. Nice day to on the water.

I agree 2.4 is a good general speed. I personally am not a fan of trolling plates, as they affect steering. Drift socks will work, but trolling bags would be better if you plan to use regularly. Check out Amish Outfitters. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
The point is that the "Sold" category does not show on the mobile app like it does in a browser, and probably 90% of the members use the mobile app... Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I'm confused as to why you would take the ground wire off and on? I agree you are bleeding capacitors in some onboard electronics. Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
I ran Tite-Loks for a couple years. I had 2 of them fail with an aggressive king hit on a dipsy rod. Both times I got to the rod. Lucky. I tried a couple versions after and have settled on Cannons. Rod holders are less expensive than what they are holding... Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
The OP was asking about 4 strokes. 6hp Merc 4 strokes are single cylinder. How is that providing misinformation? Sent from my SM-G955U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
