Way to go big guy Apparently we have all been using the wrong bait, as you can see you need to use a "Jerry Face" for bait works best trolled behind a cowboy hat flasher. Best speed is at 2.2 of course Ray -

Chris I would also call Duane at Moore and ask him personally. He pretty good at helping you out with those issues. You may ask him if the unit needs adjusting too. How old is the unit may be time for a tune up . I had mine tuned up a few years back, dropped it off in the morning and they had it ready in the afternoon for me

Boy I was FORCED to catch lake trout on other guys boats and now I am the lake trout guy/expert/Gambler. WTF FX it's all your fault

Chad, I agree with FF sort of Make Ray's wife the Moderator of that page since she's got nothing to do but get dragged along by him while he goes to his arts and crafts shows. That will give them even more time together, she will be able to control his posts a bit (help for all of us ) plus she knows more than him about fishing I am sure anyways

Nice job and congrats to all the guys on the leader boards especially the lake trout guys, that's 5 less that could accidentally end up on one of my rods while fishing for kings -
Jerry excellent fish Wish I could land one on your boat like that.... Oh wait I have never been fishing on your boat Some day we'll hook up Hey why does the salmon look happier than Morgan in that picture. You forced her to stand there in that picture with her daddy wearing that silly hat didn't you

Sandy Creek 8/16
FISHINMAN replied to Gene Shenk's topic in New York Fishing Reports - Lake Ontario (South Shore)
Didn't get on the water until after 6pm thanks to the 100 boats going in and out of the creek (I forgot it was a Sunday and 85 degrees out ) Managed 1 small steel head down 60 over 150 and lost one skipper in 135 fow on a slider. Then I was starting to pull rods at about 8:15 and got one last shot on a decent fish that hammered me, broke water and then screwed across the back of the boat only to get off with a fierce head shake. Never got a look at him but would have been a fun fish to have fought a bit more Marked a lot of bait in the 125 - 135 fow but didn't mark many fish other than a few up in the 20ft range Temp was 47-50 down 60 over 130 - 150 fow. Lost a 12lb ball that snapped off on Friday's trip and then almost had the big disaster this evening when I let Gilligan aka The Mrs. drive the boat (while I reset rods) and make the sharp turn only to get my 10lb spare ball wrapped around my probe side but managed to get it all untangled without losing anything -

Nice job Foster -
I thought maybe you were selling them because they don't fit in your boat with your "ego filled head"

Happy Birthday Scott. For a present I will send you some advise on who to pick in our Nascar league that I am the overall leader in over you by the way

Yeah like a steak ordered "rare" at that copy cat joint you eat at in Corning. Carl wants your telephone pole... oops I mean wire rod I have an idea for ya. Tell the BOSS/WIFE that there is a huge arts and crafts show in northern California (gotta be one out there somewhere). You then by chance run into "this guy named Stan that just happens to have a boat and invites you out fishing" This actually could be titled "the thread that will never die"

Sandy Creek Legacy report 8-12
FISHINMAN replied to Legacy's topic in New York Fishing Reports - Lake Ontario (South Shore)
Brian I think you should have said "where on any of my posts on this SITE" Rod Hog I don't know you from a hill of beans and Brian certainly doesn't need any of us to defend what he stated (which by the way I totally understood what he was stating not what people read into it) but I have had the pleasure of getting to know Brian who is always willing to help ANYBODY out that is looking for some tips or help and he's anything but a "ego filled head" of a guy (lake trout head filled maybe ) ROD HOG I GUESS YOUR NAMES SAYS IT ALL Ray it wasn't Rob's boat that "lists to one side" so nothing to worry about there and since the BOSS/WIFE has you off to a Crafts Show to buy a quilt he's got no worries there either Come fish out of Sandy with us Ray -
HA - HA YOUR DONE ! Sell the boat. Nice knowing ya bud! One hidden gem in this for all of us L.O.U guys, if she keeps him busy he won't post as much and we won't get as many headaches trying to read his posts You "might" be missed.

Which one is the slob? The fish or the guy in baby blue I guess an 8 year old reeling in a 19+ lb fish by himself tells it all about the fight of a laker Nice fish Brian, lets get out!
