  4. I guess you could cook "SPAM" in it too
  5. Tim I thought that was just me, but the rods are the way to go. Sour dough ones are a close second. Bananas are a must. If you can't bring them eat a few before you go
  6. Jax you should at it take a look, you can cook in it too. Maybe some of that there chow you guys at Tasting whip up, you could load it right in there from the supermarket then just put it in the microwave with your steaks and fish. Microwave away and wa-la you'll get more time off to fish and it won't hurt YOUR food anyways Just kiddin with ya you've come a long ways. Hey Horsedrawn what you guys eating out there? Make some sandwiches and bring some chips and be done with it. No fuss and no mess! Skipper check with Ray K, that's how he marks his area to go back to
  7. I had the same problem last week with that tangle. Current was awful. I retied my leader because it was twisted a bit and didn't have a problem after that :? Alway fun to bring those back in :x
  8. Nice job Brian. Now I wish I had gone, but there's always Thursday or Friday and Saturday and Sunday too 4 days off yeeeeee haaaaaaaaa! Might do the bass thing on Thursday with the bosses son who has been asking to go. Buddy of mine hammered them last week.
  9. Ray that's one of your best!
  10. Vectors are sweet used them on another guys boat a couple of times.
  11. Ditto what Skeinmachine said!
  12. Jerry Rig, try Canadaguia Lake
  13. Short and to the point 4 for 4 (3 steelies 3lb-8lb and 1 small king) deep water was the ticket at 220ft and a triple (with a 4year old boy) at 310 ft. Two were down 40ft one down 97ft and the one king was on the wire out 225ft with a Green Spin Dr with a Green Siggs fly, the 2 shallow rigger fish were on stinger mixed veggie, and one on a orange and green home made job that I had luck with last year also, cheated up. A lot of fish and bait in the 100-120fow but no takers. Screen at 210 -240 was empty but that 300 ft area was popping. The one steelie we kept had an empty tummy  Gambler was having a good day when I left at 10am fishing the same area I'll be out again Friday for a longer trip, hopefully
  14. Just talked to him and he's gonna stay on shore. I have a guy that works for me and his 4 year old son that are going with me but I have to be off the water by 10-10:30am to get to work. I'm starting inside then moving out if there's no takers (I said takers not LAKERS )
  15. Brian he's the "cook"  I'm the Executive chef Jeremy you out in the AM? Give me a shout when you get out there.
  16. I would go to Jax's house and unistall his and then put it on my boat  Seems like the cheapest way around
  17. JEREMY, I AM JEALOUS :x No more spinning in circles for you
  18. Mark :x That was supposed to be between me and you. when you called and asked where Ray gets his stuff  I told you to keep it quiet :!: Ray, Musky called said he's having trouble getting the bobbers to stay above the water :? He said when he casts out with his Zebco 22 on his 5.5ft sportfisher pole the bobber keeps going under the water. He can't understand why he's running out of bait too so he's gonna start to break his worms in half.
  19. 15point, June is the toughest month there is. the lake is in transition. Once the temps set up and there is a thermal bar things will get better. Just keep at it and try different things you pick up on this site.
  20. You are not correct my friend! There is definitely something wrong up stairs with you  :?
  21. GB, see the post 2 spots down!
  22. Rob that's absolutely great!!! Nice family you got there, your blessed :!:
  23. cam999 I was there 2 weeks ago with 2 friends in there boat and did very good. We fished the north/east side of the lake in 4-10 fow. Smaller tubes with 1/4 oz weight in the green pumpkin color worked best. Did a few with spinners, Senkos and Smithwick Rouges too. A LOT of rock bass in there hammering your tubes  . We did 6 or 8 real nice perch (they liked the Rouges) and a few slab blue gills also. Just look for the big rocky areas and hit them. See my post in the Pics, here's the link: http://www.lakeontariounited.com/fishin ... php?t=5876 Good luck :!:
  24. I run the 30# big game and have had no problems with break offs what so ever. Fleas are so - so on them. Never used the Ande because I have never had a problem with the big game. I have lost some fish (as we ALL do) but break offs are very very very rare for me, unless Ray K tied the knot :x  . Ray K, like a good carpenter never blames his tools, a good fisherman never blames his line....ESPECIALLY if it was a bad knot tying job with that twirly little end to it when you reel it back in
  25. He needs a bobber to catch blue gill? I think the biggest part of the question is go with his girl friend or be stuck with you for 10 days? Boober and blue gills are sounding good
