Vince: I was more interested in how many people would be for Closed Communication. Not to petition an act, more of a count on how many people support reinstating it. Rick: I actually wrote that at 2 or 3 in the morning as I got a new laptop and couldn't sleep. LOL

I was on another board today and saw they started an online petition to ban a certain team from competing in MI tournaments. So, I was thinking why can't we start a petition for those who would like to see the Pro-Am's go back to closed Comm.????? There it is a simple way to show how many people don't want Open Comm.

Shade, To get the facts straight the Big Boys is promoted as Closed Comm. but if I remember correctly we were told by the tournament officials that they couldn't do that. So there was an offer to have a gentleman's agreement to not talk and the 10 teams voted and the majority was they didn't believe it would have been adhered to. BTW Paul we didn't talk to any one either

As Yankee says I've had similar horror stories with mine. But since talking w/ the people at Traxstech they have reassured me that they have upgraded and improved a great product in the old Vector rod holders.

I've run the overhand knot for 10yrs and have had very few problems. Once in a while if the flasher gets spun around it will break only because it gets spun up.

Jay, Run mono backer first to take up most of the spool then put on the braid. Plus I would go with a heavier line than 10/2.

Dodger is correct. We had two foul hooked fish in '07 one in Orleans which if kept would have given us the win and then again the next week in Niagara. The next year they removed the rule that foul hooked fish had to be thrown back.

I was fortunate enough to see this fish in person. All I can say is wow! What a behemoth!
