Andy Miller, an Amish guy out of Lyndonville. Great craftmanship but not as cheap as I thought they'd be. But I'm happy. I have his # somewhere, but I think he needs the boat there.

What T said. I've tied single 4/0 gammy octopus singles ahead of all trebles with 50# ande clear mono. Took me a while to perfect the snell technique but that's all I run on the flies.

The Oak, as always. Started there with the small 18' for the near shore spring thing then graduated to a larger boat and offshore kings/steelies.

Well, I'm working on my 2nd career. The first was 21 years as a line/forklift mechanic with a WNY toy company. My job went to Mexico in '91. After re-careering, I am now <4 years to pickin' my days on Lake O (read retirement). Current occupation: psychiatric RN in a maximum security correctional facility here in NY.

What Skeener said. BTW it's good to be back and able to post again. I had a heck of a time getting back on after the hack thing. I wonder if there are a lot more members that can't log on out there. Thanks to the site administrator for getting me back on. This is a great site, one of my daily reads.
