  1. While fishing Branchport today my wife mentioned to me that she saw "a cute little girl" on the ice. Well she just recognized that little girl in your great pic. BTW my wife caught her first ever ice laker today. I think you were set up to the north of us.
  2. Hoping to make the 2 hour run to Keuka sometime this week. Would be great to put the missus on some fish. Tubes and bucktails ready to go.
  3. Great show. Love seeing the open (not frozen) water and the boats, especially during this winter. No doubt my favorite show. Hard Merchandise is my favorite of the fleet. Just something about Dave that is real. I too don't care for the aerial spotting/harpooning, just doesn't seem like fair chase.
  4. Those are true slobs! Whereabouts down south?
  5. SIGNED. As for corruption in ny, Preet is doing a good job, Silver's gone, Skelos and andy are next. "Stay tuned".
  6. Same here. Still huntin' with the .22 just ain't the same.
  7. Hey duckhunter check your pm's. I have a brother lookin for a 1 man and he's interested.
  8. SCOPE of Wyoming County shared Free Upstate's photo. 5 hours ago Green = Astorino; Blue = Cuomo; Draw your own conclusions.

  12. Yep, they were digging a hole for the pay station pad when we were pulling out today. I think I liked Orleans County's management better.
  13. Rolmops is correct. If you have surge brakes, fill the master cylinder, put a vice grips to your coupler and work coupler up and down. No doubt a leak somewhere. I just replaced the master cylinder on my trailer. This site may be helpful, plenty of DIY videos: https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Atwood/85841.html
  14. Thanks Mick.
  15. Are any docks in at either the launch at the Black North or the west side former state launch area?
  16. Was viewing the 'eyes, some northerns, and carp at the inlet yesterday. It was loaded with 'eyes. It's an annual trip with the wife and grandkids. Went to the roof-top launch north of the viewing area and guys there were pulling bullhead from the inlet. According to the regs, it appears you can only fish the inlet to the west-running canal until walleye/pike season opens. Take some chicken livers.
  17. I don't know if it's the best, but Ande's worked well for us. 50yd spool and the price is not bad. Can't recall any failures.
  18. Yep, the inlet is loaded with 'eyes, some northerns, huge carp and we saw one tiger in there today. A great annual trip with the wife and grandkids. They were pulling bullhead at the small boat launch further north. Didn't see any crappie taken.

    Cheek meat!

Always use the cheeks on 'eyes. Now I wonder if king cheeks are worth a try? Gonna give it a shot this season.
  20. Thanks for the replies. We'll be out soon.
