Your best bet would be to call and ask some local eye center/ opthamologists if they have the various tests. I am currently also going through this process and have had to go to 3 seperate offices for the drug test,physical,and eye test. I don't think you will find anywhere that will be able to do all 3 especially if you have problems with color blindness. hope this helps.

I believe this is a NYS law, and would be enforced by Sherriff/Police/DEC. I saw many boats this week because of the nice weather earlier this week and not a single person had a PFD on.

Thank's guys. It was fun. Way to go aunt Chris and uncle Bill. Me and my wife went out on Saturday and went 3 for 4 west of port. I stayed in 60- 80 fow. 1 teenage king on that same spin doc diver, 1 2 yr old king on a revelator on the 10 color and we weighed in a 11# 7 oz steelie which was sitting in 5th when I stopped at Narby's today to check out the leaderboard. I was looking for some browns on that inside bait, but I saw at least 5 salmon break the surface which kept me in the inside water. That fish came in 95 Fow. It is August tommorrow so I guess they could be there. It won't be long and we will be running J Plugs again. Good luck everyone. - Mick

Went Out this later A.M solo. Got on the water about 9:00 started in about 30 fow and took it East. Nothing going so tried it west. The only fish I got today was this brute with less than 2 hours fishing time invested. A little bit west of port on a black/crush glow spin doc (custom and custom fly). Of course the derby doesn't start until tomorrow. This fish was bouncing 29-30 on my Berkley Boga grip when I landed it. Biggest fish of my life. (so far). Wire diver 180 on a 3.

You could fish the open division which is new this year. I think it's run like a 1 day tourney on both days. There is also the friday 1 day tourney. No boat length restrictions, and I believe you bring in your best 3 fish. I think you have to weigh in by noon, but you can go out earlier than all the other boats, and you can also trailer it instead of having to keep it in the water. Hope this helps. - Mick

Thank's for the info Capt. Paul. Most were on very short notice last year, but possibly with some notice beforehand more boats would get in. During the August Saturday Tourney last year Boats that had entered all the contests were able to fish the LOC Fall ,Orleans Rotary Derby, and the 1 day Saturday Tourney All on the same day. I haven't researched how everything falls together this year yet, but they sure are a lot of fun to be in if you are going to be out there fishing anyways.- Mick

That was Mark's boat. Just to clarify.

I had heard the same thing. Since the canal is filled with water from the niagara I guess it might be possible for it to have gotten into Oak Orchard from the canal in Medina, and then into glenwood lake and then further down Oak Orchard which drains into Lake Alice. I wish they would stock some tigers in lake Alice. There sure are a lot of panfish there to feed them. Only ever heard of a smaller one caught below the dam downstream to Lake Ontario.
