I find it funny when i talk to people around the area i hunt inP.A. and there complaining of not seeing anything. These are the same guys that had 3 doe permits in there pocket and filled every one when the great Dr Alt was doing his herd reduction.I agree that some areas had to be thinned out to a certain extent, not totally decimated.Your also going to see the herd thinned out even more in NY now that you can use rifles in certain counties. You might not notice the impact at first but 5 to 10 years down the road youll see a noticeable difference.
The more doe permits that are issued then the more button bucks are going to get killed.I hunt P.A. and it is true that some areas of the state the deer herd was decimated. My friend was smart enough to see the light at the end of the tunnel and stopped doe shooting before it was too late.Just because the state issues you a doe permit doesnt mean you have to fill it.
I saw that same show with Tiffany in it.They show last seasons reruns on the outdoor channel. Its worth watching if you can catch it.Shes definetly a hottie for sure. She even manages to shoot a fish or two.
When i used to fish in Olcott every spring there used to be a trawler there that was a DEC study boat. They used it for tests on fish they netted. They were only in port for a day or two and then they left.If i remember correctly the boat name was Kaho and the port name was Oswego. This was 15 or so years ago.
I bought a 2006 F-150 last year with the 4.6 liter v8 and it tows my 2000 pound boat just fine.If you can afford it go with the Toyota.A much better truck in my opinion but a much bigger price tag. Some of my friends have 2 wheel drive fords and they cant keep front tires on them. The salesman that sold me mine told me that they have that problem with them.Mines 4 wheel and i havent had any trouble yet.Hope this helps
Your right about ice shanty(panty) that site is a joke now. Thanks for the report i might hit sodus bay this week or next ill post a report if i go.Id like to see some pics.By the sounds of it your gonna be doin a lot more shoveling before the weekends over.Good luck.
I stayed in one of there cabins a few years ago when i went out on a charter out of the oak.Nothing fancy but they were clean and had all the essentials in the kitchen you needed. If i fish out of there again i would stay there again. It was nice having the Black north inn within walking distance.
Ive been doing pretty good on the susky the last month too.Ive had a few bad days but for the most part the bites been pretty good.Ill be back out after deer season closes, probably after late muzzleloader.
