Firefighting is a profession where discipline is mandatory. You do not make things worse and this is result of wildcat charging into a burning building. THIRTY YEARS OF FIRE SERVICE has taught me that many firefighting deaths and awards were self decisions that became more fatalities than necessary. The media thrives on reporting heroic? deaths.

Hatchery raised fish are raised in a warmer well water source. This increases their growth rate so when they are released into the lake they survive better than undersized stream hatched fish. The smaller fish are more likely to become forage for all the Lake Ontario fish. Fishing for salmon is more dependent on hatchery supplied fish and an adequate supply of the well water. -
There a lot of dairy farm owners seeking assistance for property tax payments. Simply contact them, my son picked up 500 acres of cornfields along with wooded areas.

That is an upwelling of deeper cold water which replaces warm surface water that moves offshore with offshore winds.

Just troll downwind. Stop, clear your lines and run upwind and get back to trolling. Unless you have a good wheels person on the wheel continuously, your boat turns sideways too often.

Troll with the wind. Going into or sideways with the wind requires a dedicated wheels man who pays complete steering control. Pull your lines and run back into the wind to go back over a hot spot. The time lost untangling lines is not worth it if you do not have a full time driver on the wheel. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Dealing with alcoholics you can expect that. It is best to report it to the police , they can pick up some court pay to fix things up. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

One day off the Burlington Bridge with prevailing SW winds, crystal clear water was on the surface. A cold water upwelling. A few miles east green water met the clear water. Plankton rich warm water with plenty of baitfish present. We set lines about a half mile inside the green water and the best fishing of our lives happened. Another condition is when the lake water reaches its densest.Around 39 degrees the lake is the same temperature, top to bottom. The heaviest water sinks to the bottom and the surface water cools till it becomes frozen ice .The. Bottom water stays warm so the fish survive during the winter. But the dissolved oxygen on the bottom decreases and the fish suspend upwards till the spring thaw adds freshly oxygenated water to the l bottom of the lakes.
