What make is the boat? A 24' boat with twin inboards sounds like a neat ride.

I think the boats after 1996 are the ones built composite with no wood.

TTT, boat has a bimini top as well.

Are the $1,000 per day winners or lead posted anywhere online?

Thanks for the info guys, looks like I'm going to mount on the port side opposite of where the transducers are mounted

How did you decide which side to mount your kicker, port or starboard? My thoughts are to mount on the port side as my transducer is on the starboard. I have a 24 Penn Yan and will be mounting a 9.9 tohatsu on a panther adjustable bracket. Boat is balanced so aside from the transducer, I don't have any other reasons for port vs. starboard

Do you have a link for the SeaStar system or would you mind sharing what the system costs? Seems like an easy upgrade and not too complicated of a project.

Who makes those lights? Do you have a link or where you bought them?

Any pics???

Mudflat, is that a 25" shaft on your Yamaha? Looks like we have the same boat. I wasn't sure a fixed position bracket would get the kicker far enough down into the water. Do you have any more pics of your install?
-
Looking for a good strong bracket for a 4 stroke 25" kicker, not sure which is better the Panther or Garelick.
I seem to remember a post saying one had issues where the attachment blocks were failing.

So I guess the next question is how much juice do these new EFI kickers use on their own. The Tohatsu 9.9 is EFI and has 12A output. Aside from the benefits of EFI, I wonder if going that route is worth it.
Seems like 6A would be enough, just don't want to buy something and then wish i had gone with a different motor.
-
Looking at kickers, and I am questioning if the common 6A output is enough for running everything on the boat.
I know the high speed riggers use a lot of juice, my concern is if the 6A will be enough to keep up with the demand.
