  1. I have a couple slits about 3" long from hitting something on the bottom of my tracker. Very thin, but I'm assuming my minor water problem is from these spots. I tried some stuff last year but it didn't hold up. Someone have a sure fire fix? [ Post made via Android ]

  10. Nice! I was there a couple of weekends ago getting pike up to 6# and perch up to 13". We were on the south part of the bay.
  11. We've done it the last 2 years and really like it! Longer fishing time would be nice though. We'll probably do it again this year also. [ Post made via Android ]
  12. Very cool. Nice meeting you too buddy.
  13. Happy Birthday buddy!
  14. I used to and still do on occasion stack riggers. I've got a pretty good Brown Trout pattern I use that incorperates those Big Jon mini discsstacked on riggers.
  15. Overall, Any spoon with green on it will work the most times for you.
  16. I like the sound of this idea I like that a lot. Due to not being able to commit to the whole weekend, we have fished 1 day each of the last 2 years for the oak pro-am open division and really enjoyed it. We finished 2nd both times and I thought we were rewarded nicely for what little you had to put into it. Just need to move the weigh in to maybe 1pm. The guys I had on the boat last season said they were going to fish it out of their own boats this year. As far as the voting goes, 8 or 9 rods? Not much of a difference their, just give me 9. 6 or 9 would have been a better idea and for the entry fee, why can't it be $400-$500. I don't see any reason to pay 60 spots at each event unless you want people to get $100 and a $50 gas certificate to the local AM & PM for 10th place. Either way I'll be fishing an event on the west end in another captain's boat or in mine if he doesn't like the rules, kicks me out or our music is too loud and they kick the whole boat out.lol. Overall I like the short/long box format, but with the counties wanting to see more participation, I just don't see it unless the open division catches fire and it could. All the gentlemen in charge are doing their best and it's time to drop the keyboards a go fishing!
  17. I got dibs on the $10 honeybees! Ill give ya cash and pick them up. [ Post made via Android ]
  18. I have one and am selling it for $125. ill send ya a pm
  19. I know the guys in charge don't want to see the negative talk, but you need to throw a bone back to the am's. I.e: 6 rod rule or something. Competing against the bigger boats is half of the time impossible. And I've heard the "get a bigger boat" theory. Crap. 3 years ago, yvan took us out in a small craft warning the final day of the Scotty in Wilson! We started the day in fourth. Guess where we ended up? Lets just say we never weighed in and unfortunately bill Ruth should have won. All the other smaller boats in the top 10 dropped like a rock with us. Again, its the majority not the minority that must be helped out to keep a great Tourny moving in the right direction. Ah what the heck do I know, I'm just a dumb painter.lol [ Post made via Android ]
