  1. They were fishing braddocks today!
  2. Braddocks is locked up w/ about 11\2-2" of ice. I would bet that it will be fished this weekend.
  3. Thanks Larry, I will definately say hi to pops for ya. Have a great holiday!
  4. Nice deer Rob! Did you shoot them from the roof of your barn again? I'm going out one morning later this week If you wan't to "hang" out w/ me?
  5. You guys are brutal! I've been told to smile more, I guess that's how I am. It's my inner beauty that counts! Rob, I see that the smile on your pictures isnt breeming w/ sunshine either. Rick, it is my biggest buck. It looks like a relative of the buck my dad took about 5 years ago. His had a lot more mass w/ 11" g2's and probobly scored 145-155 area. I was going to call you soon to see if you wanted to bowl on Dec. 17. Sam has surgery on his hand Dec. 13. He is out for 6 weeks after that. We don't bowl the 24th and the 31st. After those dates you can bowl as much as you would like. Let me know. Maybe we'll be talking ice fishing by then! Thanks guys
  6. Took this bad boy at 9:45 sat. 19" inside spread and 8-9" g2's. It was missing a brow tine or it would be a perfect 8 pt.
  7. This proves that we don't just fish for the money, huh? I spent about 600.00 during the 3 loc derbies this year. Mike, you not having a boat for the near future does suck. Don't be shy to PM me next season if ya need a ride. We usually have the room. We just throw my pops gas $ after the trip. The boat is docked at Sandy.
  8. Looking for some hunting land for sale in Rochester area. Any ideas or conections would be great. Thanks
  9. WW IV, Same here. the rest of the bay is perchless. Last weekend by myself I got 30 and this past sat. am w/ one other guy we got 73. All were in 5 fow east of the markers. Slip bobbers w/ fathead and orange jighead.
  10. Winning 20 grand would be nice, but lets get a little realistic for a minute. The chance of winning it is extremely low. The motivation for me to get up at 4am and travel from Webster to Hamlin is definately not for the 50 bucks I would split w/ the guys on our boat just for making the board. I think most of us on this website would admit that being in the top 20 for a particular division AND seeing your boat name listed on the leaderboard is very satisfying after the challenge of going up against the whole southern shore of this lake. We all love money, but being able to show off a little is nice too. Hopefully they(LOC) will put all names on or none at all. BTW: Take the rec boats out of the equation and you might not even have a derby. Just my .2 cents
  11. Chad, I think you should buy your dad some shorter socks.
  12. Ltroller, don't feel too bad, it happens. How would you like to be us yesterday? 2 for 10! All kings. 40-50fow w/ divers out 40-50' and riggers down 25-35'. Silver j's and mag spoons. Only one fish w/ the s.d./fly. We all needed anti-depressants after that. We'll be out mon. morn. Good luck.
  13. Steve, Go to A-TOM-MIK's web site and you'll find "Happy" flies and not "Sad" looking flies. If you do, then get them w/ tournament series leaders. I've only lost 2 fish on these all year.
  14. Foster, Where were you fishing and all the other good stuff.
  15. Sorry, not that I know of.
  16. Fished from 8am till 130pm went 6-9. Bow, brown and the rest were kings no bigger than 18#. Most of the kings didn't start hitting for us until about noon. spin doctors on riggers and dipseys. leadcore w/ mag frog also. 70fow was the best. the kings really started showing up on the graph by late morning and they seemed to be starting to turn on for the afternoon. Maybe we'll get a report from someone that fished in the pm. BTW: Temp was still coming up a bit when we left. 60 degrees down 45'
  17. 6 kings today and I think we put one on the board at 28.5lb's( I didn't go to the weigh station and only heard from a friend the weight of the fish). 75 fow from bald eagle to the park. 45'-60' down. wh/wh sd and A TOM MIC hammer fly took most of the fish. No dipsey hits today for some reason. It seems like the kings are starting to zone back inside after the upwelling this past week. Hopefully we'll be back out tuesday morning. Good luck
  18. Keith, check your PM box. Nice fish! Any of you guys going out thurs. am? If you are, give us a shout.
  19. Great job guys! Well deserved. You guys always do well. See ya on the water!
  20. Congrats Guys! I guess it's MILLER TIME!
  21. A buddy of mine had a charter today and said that at 500fow temp was down 50' and in 250fow it was 54 degrees on top and 40 degrees 25' down. We'll be out there Thursday this week.
  22. Thanks for the report Keith. I guess we didn't miss much.
  23. Because of the weather we took today off instead of tomarrow. I have a party on sat. My next time out will be sunday. Let me know how you did. We took in a 10.4# laker. It was tough w/ that south wind. Good luck
