I had major issues when I bought my boat in 2012. Long story short, I wanted custom 6' masts made in November of 2012 and was strung along and constantly lied to till May and never received them. I told Jeff to shove them in his a!$....The stories that I have on some of his lies are unbelievable. I've heard from reputable people he has lost umpteen thousands of dollars because of his bulls$&t lies......Wow all my anger just cropped up again typing this!!!!......lol Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

All this money everyone spends on the equipment for fishing salmon and people want to use rubber bands. Spend the money and get the regular size Scotty's and/or offshore releases. Clip it to the copper and you'll never have a false release again. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

It was nice to see lots of boats fishing Sandy again this weekend! Fishing was great West of the creek 100-160fow and 270-330fow. All Salmon with a few Lakers and Bows. On the inside program, Minion Meat Rigs with the B.O.H.I.C.A. and Night Fury being the best behind 10" spinny's on coppers and riggers 60' down to 110'. On the outside it was Moonshine Ratchet Jaw and various Stingrays 35-75 down. We also pulled a couple Lakers off the bottom with a Gambler Rig behind a 8" Echip at the end of one trip. Water level is good and the state launch is open, so get out there while it's great.[emoji106] Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Currently I have no time or interest anymore. The "intell" some boats get is invaluable. You can't do anything about that, people have friends and that's a good thing, but it's a huge advantage. *Get rid of the observer and ACTUALLY use the polygraph tests. *6 fish rule with culling *Stop making tournaments "top heavy". The more you charge in entry and give for first place will ruin a tournament in any sport in a heartbeat. The first promising thing I've seen from the west end pro am in a long time is they are now going back to some of the original rules that made that tournament great. This crap that's been thrown at the fishermen in the last many years is completely mind boggling. Stop reinventing the wheel, just replace a few spokes. Tuning cut bait
Silver Fox replied to stillfishing's topic in Questions About Trout & Salmon Trolling?
Just put a bend in the head and throw it in the water. If it's rolling at a decent clip, then put it out. Don't get a headache over this, just get it to roll and throw it out. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

Many people have watched me fillet and I'm definitely not perfect, but they mention how it just glides through the side of the fish as I start from the Gill. It's truly effortless. I see guys use some knives that claim to be good and it's embarrassing the difference between the two. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Cutco. We send ours in for free sharpening every fall and if they think they need replacing, they send back brand new ones. I'll never have to worry about a knife ever. Sent from my SM-N950U using Lake Ontario United mobile app
