  9. Rich, I recently purchased the 587 Furuno and contacted Furuno on recommendations for a transducer. Furuno put me in contact with their Great LLakes region representative. He highly recommended the 525TID-TMD Transducer. It is a transom mount which I like because I can tilt it (if needed) to see my rigger weights.   10. FT, Scott was my salesman too. He was great to deal with. I convinced my wife we needed a bigger boat because it would be much safer in bad weather and for tournament fishing. She bought my excuse and we got the boat. Brian
  11. You bought it from Oyster Cove Boatworks. I bought a 25 Carolina Classic from them a couple months ago. I told the salesman to advertise the Penn Yan in New York because of their popularity on the great lakes. It looked like it was in great shape but needed a good cleaning.   14. I took my gimbal mounts off and bolted Traxstech tracks over the holes. It's just an option. Brian

  17. 5.7 (350) Volvo engine. Engine is a 1995 and has been bored .030 over, heads completely rebuilt w/ new valves, flat top pistons, roller cam, Edelbrock 600 CFM carb, Edelbrock intake, new harmonic balancer. It has also been balanced. The motor has approx. 30 minutes run time on it. I have a very short video of it running I can text anyone who is seriously interested. It could also be used for a Mercruiser. This engine was professionally built. I have approx. $4000 invested into this motor. Asking $2500. Please call me @ 215-896-2296 or IM me.
  18. I ran into the same problem and I made a spacer plate out of trex deck material. You could probably use awood spacer. Brian
