  1. Most of the bucks I saw were busted up from fighting. This buck had a broken jaw and we felt he probably wouldn't have made it through the winter. I did have an either/or whitetail/muley tag. I archery hunted Muleys in Eastern Colorado a few years ago and was amased at the big whitetails I saw. I ended up shooting a 170s Muley on that trip and wanted to go back for the whitetails.
  2. I shot this deer in southeast Colorado last week. Unfortunately it had 6 chipped/broken tines and a broken main beam. He scores 154 5/8". Brian
  3. Your best bet would be to talk to a local farmer and see if they could plant your plot. One thing you should do in advance is check your soil PH. If your PH isn't right you're wasting your time and money. Brian
  4. Great deer. Congrats!!!
  5. Here are a few pictures from my property in southeast Pa. The dates on some of the pictures are incorrect. Brian
  6. Nice Buck Bill!
  7. Nice fish Chaz. See you at the FH Challenge. Brian
  8. Observer found. Thanks Wes. [ Post made via iPhone ]
  9. Our observer backed out at the last minute and we need an observer. We will pay $100 for Saturday and you can fish with us on Friday. It's a great oportunity for a beginner to learn. Call me @ 215-896-2296 or PM me. Brian (TEAM GOIN' DEEP)
  10. It's a shame all Tim was trying to do when he started this thread was to say he found a great deal on new Scotty riggers and for whatever reason the thread turns into a Scotty bashing. If you don't like them, that's fine but I personally get tired of certain people on here that are narrow minded and think that their opinion is the only opinion. Brian
  11. X2 on the Spro.
  12. If possible, go to the next size screw.
  13. There are complete instructions on Tuna Tom's website for replacing the Tekota drag washers. http://www.tunasreeltroubles.com/SHIMAN ... ATION.html Brian
  14. Thermacell doesn't work on the flies. The easiest way to stop them is to wear long pants. Brian
  15. I normally run 15lb torpedos and when I want to go 150ft + I run a 20 lb Shark weight. Brian
  16. Sorry to hear about your recent theft and I do understand you are frustrated and angry but to go around and tell everyone to boycott Oswego county I feel is wrong. Crime is everywhere. If this theft would have happened in your driveway would you move? Please think about the innocent merchants, charter captains etc. of Oswego that would be effected before you tell everyone to boycott Oswego. Stopping the scumbag criminals is where we ALL should be focusing our energy! Brian
  17. For breakfast and lunch, go to Gillis' on 104A just east of town. For dinner try O'Conner's Restaurant it's right in town. There is also Pleasant Beach Hotel which is right on the east side of the bay. All three places are great. Brian
  18. How about this: http://rochester.craigslist.org/boa/2962847440.html
  19. Having stuck rings would mean your motor wouldn't turn over. Additionally, that doesn't explain why you are getting water in your oil. Brian
  20. The public ramp sucks if you have a bigger boat. The state park has a great ramp and if you get there before 6:00am there isn't a charge because there isn't any guards at the gate. A guard at the park told me that. I think it is only $5 to get into the park anyway. Good luck fishing! Brian
  21. Don't forget about Fairhaven Beach State Park. Great launch and you are right at the chute going out into the lake. http://www.nysparks.com/parks/12/details.aspx Brian
  22. I used the same rod holders only in chrome last year and they worked great. Brian
  23. I have the same problem w/ my weight retrievers. I was thinking of tying a knot in the cord so when it slips it stops at the knot. I'm not sure if it will work but it's worth a try. If it doesn't work thaen I guess I'll have to buy new retrievers. Brian
