I am registered for the Six Pack class starting October 19th in Rochester NY. I can bring another person to the class for a discounted rate. Yep, Lake Erie... I figured with the warmer spring that we were having there might be some activity already. I had one day last year towards the end of May where my Buddy and my 2 boys caught 160+ perch in less than 4 hours...we kept 121.

Just wondering if anyone has been hitting the can at Dunkirk for perch yet. I want to make the trip up but can't find any info on the bite.

Hit the can out of Dunkirk this AM. On the water from 6am to 12:30pm abrought home a cooler full of perch. Was a pretty good day! Fished 45-50 fow using emeralds... Three of us fishing and I figure we caught about 150 give or take a few...We fileted 118! Went through 13 dozen emeralds and then went to nightcrawlers before calling it quits. Think we may go back next week and give it another shot.

Don't forget the bottle of "Cock Sauce" on the counter...That's some good stuff.

Rich, Great report! One question though, when you refer to the "pin", what is it? I am just getting home from a long day at Wilson....Just couldn't get anything going. Fished for 5 hours in the AM with 1 knock off. Went looking for some perch but decided to go back and hit the big water again. Finally picked up 2 shakers and a 10 lb. King but that was it.

Anyone been out of Dunkirk lately? I am planning a trip up with my 3 yr old (his first fishing trip) and would really like to get him into some decent eyes...
