All my fishing partners like there beer from time to time but I have been hesitant to allow beer on my boat. What is New Yorks law regarding open containers and consumption on a boat? Myself as operator, I would refrain from drinking but when you have a group of guys fishing for an entire day, some beer is bound to be consumed...I just want to stay within the guidelines of NY...

Mark, I just bought one to align mine... I was hopeing to finish up with it tonight but can't seem to break the lower nuts loose on my engine mounts. At any rate, i figure I should be done with it this coming weekend and would gladly let you borrow it... as long as I get it back

I am looking for a good, big landing net with at least a 6 foot handle. The one that I currently have is too short to reach over the swim platform on my new boat. I would rather not have to pay shipping on this so would have to arrange a pickup, preferably close to Buffalo/Southerntier area.

To be honest with you, I only got a few new things...2 new braided dipsy rigs, 2 wire dipsy rigs, 8 mono dipsy/downrigger rigs, 10 tite loc rod holders, 3 canon dowriggers, couple hundred spoons, 40 or so flies, 30 or so j-plugs, a dozen or so flashers/dodgers, planer board setup, Raymarine rc520, Raymarine l750, vhf radio,.... Oh...and a Trophy 2460... If only the wife knew how much I have blown in the last 5 months...I would be single again I'm sure! :shock: A friend took me out for Kings last fall and that started the ball rolling...I am addicted! Just picked up 2000' of stainless wire braid and need to know how to attach it to the spool on the reel and some of the basics of wire dipseys. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought a used Raymarine RayChart 520 plotter and a L750 Fishfinder but I don't have any experience with these units. Has/does anyone here run these on thier boat and what do you think of them? For the price I paid, If they work marginally well, I'll be happy. Anything I need to know about these when I wire them up? Where is the best place to find the c-map nt card for this and are the nt+ cards compatable in the RC520?
