Ontario Regs does not allow perch for bait.

Wow you guys are congering up some good ole memories. My family used to go up there in the seventies and eighties and we had a field day on the pike with the little perch under a bobber.. That was till an OPP Officer walked down the dock one day and asked my father to open up his minnow pail and it was full of small perch.. A little fast talking and a son used as a scapegoat kept us out of trouble..... Woody

You guys are killing me... My boat is under 2 feet of the heaviest snow I have ever seen... I am praying for warm weather so I can dig out my boat.... Way to go guys..... Woody

Rich Happy Birthday bud.

Chris these reels are split down the center of the spool.. I had a reel split on my Cannon Rigger and it expanded and I could not crank up the rigger anymore.. I had 2 old Cannon riggers so I robbed a spool off and swapped it out with the damaged spool and it works like a dream now... My suggestion is to find an old spool in good shape and swap it out... Dale

Forgot to tell ya Hank the Daytona 500 was great.. Would have been awesome if they could keep the track from falling apart...... Woody

Coup I am writing this as I am sitting poolside in Sunny Florida while the kids are splashing in the pool sorry for rubbing that in.. I fished Sodus on Wednesday and it was very slow then headed to a friends cottage on the westside of Port Bay and I seen 4 shanties working the northend... Was that you out there... We had to do some work at his cottage before we left for Florida..... Good luck fishing boys I will work on my tanlines and bikini pics to add here for ya..... Woody.

Kevin Thanks for the invite the other day I had an absolute ball fishing canandaigua with you and your dad.. I lost my share of those fish also I think they were coming down on the lures so we were hooking them in the bottom jaw... That is why our ratio was not good... I finished all my deer I may hit the water again tomorrow or friday for some more bows and lakers..... Let me know if you want to get out again....... Dale

I had this buck come by the stand saturday evening 30 minutes before sunset and gave me a nice broadside shot at 25 yards. My shot placement was a touch high and I spined him, so I did not have to worry about a blood trail, he dropped right in his tracks. I also had the luck to take a nice red fox with my bow. I was amazed at the damage a 100 grain thunderhead can do to the cranium of a fox. She went 20 yards and crashed in some thick stuff.. I would have posted sooner but we have been swamped with deer for processing and I have been hitting the hay as soon as I get cleaned up.... Dale
