  1. I agree Brian, the way it was explained last night we will be ok with our Kings for 2012, the percentage was down from 70% to 50% but there were also a few hundred extra thousand eggs collected so it's a smaller percentage than last year but from more eggs, prolly non significant, but not way off normal eye-up percentages if average from normal ratios. Also taking into consideration our strong King take from 2011 (being from a horrible adult crop) we seemed to do real good. The Coho situation was also bad in Michigan for 2011 egg take/eye up correct, but the Canadians DID reach expected goals and percentages. Tom

  6. Thanks Vince !!! After 5 months its starting to come together Jerry you will have invite #063 coming your way Tom
  7. -Invites will start going out March 1, 2012 -60 teams is a full field for projected payout with a contingency of added teams -Those original 38 teams who wrote us letters for an invite will be guaranteed a spot if deposit is sent in on time, I firmly believe we will sell this event out, however we feel at this time there is still room to get in before the allotted amount of deposits are received, when we are full (including contingency teams) we will notify the public via, FB, Internet fishing forums and at http://www.Atommikinvitational.com (see link for deposit and balance deadlines) http://www.atommikinvitational.com/entry.htm Tom

  9. IMO I like the diversity of them all. Its fun to fish the derbies, the GOSD and the LOC !!! The smaller entry fee events we now have in the Eastern Basin are very popular, I find we get 75 to over 100 teams per event on our end of the lake. Its great to rank your self up against some of the top dogs The higher dollar events along with the series that come along with them are a goal for many to work their way up to, not all but some Lake Ontario !!!! Its a great place, the current diversity is awesome !!! Tom
  10. Update: If you want to order more Invitational shirts just e mail me [email protected] Price is $15 plus a 1 time $6 shipping fee I need to thank Kevin Jerge for doing so much, sort of the man behind the scene making me look good and also to Penny Hartman and her nephew, the DEC for their hard work, my mom, dad, aunts, uncles and cousins for getting together so much like trophy's, selling shirts, and organization as well as my son who set up over 200 chairs and the tables. I need to thank Steph for the many hours she put in with me, Joe the caterer and my long time friend Tommy Germain for helping Joe. There were so many bodies that made this happen. 11. Today's derbies & tourney style events are formatted in many ways Glen I agree changes almost always come with much ado. The said market place is now an evolving spectrum of hopeful positive moves. I have been as passionate as anyone about the competition we have all come to love. My feelings for 2 years now have left a few sleepless nights to say the least !! I've felt betrayed but that is in the past and I certainly hope the new changes will favor the fishermen in a way that is satisfiable. I would like to wish the Pro/Am's good luck, public perception is the TOUGHEST feat to stay on top of. The work behind the scenes is endless, so many personalities to overcome. The new changes are coming in with not just one, but many of the top heads in the business, some names that are well known and liked & looked up to and also respected by those who have been around this scene for a while. I was surprised when I heard the new accepted thoughts were coming from many minds !! Tom
