  1. -all of a sudden the "past not so important" ideals of leveling the playing field are now important due to different "aspects" of a tournament, lol -there should of been a 4th option in this poll- "No changes at all except for closing communication" I like it exactly the way it is except for that single rule -Rod, spot on !!! Nothing like pinning the tail on the ________ !!! easy enough answer to this that most would probably agree to: We would rather have a NO COMMUNICATION rule to level the playing field, we are fine with who runs where and who owns what boat !!-funny how the dictator sits back with a sh*t eating grin as most continually struggle with all this, it will all come to a head some day, now rumor has it there is this large meeting taking place at seasons end, because there are important discussions that need to take place......... Well DUH NO SH*T !!!! The players want a rule change and a few of the well known highly liked players have had to employ STRONG ARMING tactics against their friends !!! Sounds pretty harsh, but that sh*t eating grin hasn't flinched. There's a few morals for you !!! Tom

  5. Sounds good Greg I looked for my current boat for 2 years Make sure you find what your looking for For a closer inspection you will need to contact Tommy, he'll let you look through the boat An investment of this nature should always require a survey, that will tell you sometimes what we can't or don't know, once your serious it could be the best $500 to $800 you'll ever spend, I am sure upon a serious gesture Tommy could warrant a test ride/drive There is a real good Captain/Surveyor from out West of here Bob Songin, let me know if you need a contact # Tom
  6. Greg is out of town presently I have been on this boat on many occasion's from the early 2000's till late last season Tommy Germain has been a local captain who did a few trips each season as well as holding down a full time job since he has owned the boat new. Never ran a ton of trips and never spared a cent for upkeep and preventative maintenance The boat fishes very well and is one of them boats that always managed the lions share of fish, especially Kings, never salt water I never recall any problems with this boat, stored inside, fresh bottom paint and waxed each year, regular oil changes, any maintenance it ever needed it received asap, The local to Oswego Rookie Brother mechanics performed all maintenance All electronics work great and just installed the new X4, Tommy even kept the spiders out of this boat, lol I remember the boat to cruise in the low 20's, Tommy never opened it up and we would fish together 10 or more times a season Ballpark figure I believe to be around 20 to low 20g Sort of sad to see Tommy part with it, I feel if he doesn't sell it he just may be putting her back in the water in the future (IMO) If you would like to chat further you could call me 315-207-0391, Tommy is a close friend to almost all local captains, or call Tommy 315-343-4852 Steph fighting one of a double aboard the Little Whip back in 04' Tom

Hop on 104W until you come into Oswego Make a right onto east 1st street (RT481N) follow it down to the Charter marina past the hotels, drive around the marina to the opposite side If you cross the Bridge Street bridge you have gone too far (Do not cross Oswego River) Turn at subway From Mikes I would guess 15 miles Tom

  12. Just an FYI Greg, I heard much of what you had mentioned floating around while my stay in Wilson prior to this event, I agree with you that the pressures mentioned to me were not right IMO. On that note I did not or do not endorse this Closed Communication agreement. Even though Pete is a great friend who I admire and look up to I was clearly idle to the agreement and noted my feelings to Pete very clearly and belligerently of how the No Communication issue "should be handled" I also feel for the "clear overwhelming majority" of teams that exert the energy, interest, commitment, involvement and investment into these events. The 2nd biggest rumor I heard floating about before the event was the "wish" to add a box (that could be checked) on the registration form for those "for or against" closed communication, for the ultimate change of the current rule, my response was the same as it has been. You will never see it !! As it is not an option under current coordination. To respond to the A-TOM-MIK mention, on the Pro side alone there were 11 Staffed, Associated or Sponsored A-TOM-MIK Teams who placed in the top 15, out of them 11 teams 8 signed. I can also add that 10 of the 11 teams would like nothing more than for the rule to be changed (and I am not so sure of just 1, they may as well) Tom
