but my cats name was "little dink" , Dave ,you been in washington latley ,dont get me wrong i respect your duties for the great derbys ,BUT when it comes to this FISHERMAN and WOMEN site here is how i see it. This site was (in my opinion) started by fishermen, for fishermen, and for the education of potential fishermen. I dont think the primary reason to start this site was to "promote tourest " but im shure it has had more effect on the "LAKES" economy than any other single source,or site. Also the folks here do enjoy a little boat talk, bashing, humor, along with some pretty good fishing tips NOT TO MENTION ALL THE FREE ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE L.O.C'S AND OTHER DERBYS. as we all know sometimes ya get caught up in the moment of "funnies, bashing, advice,or unuasual humor. If we are so bad that some kid turns into a mass murder (of fish) then we did our part. Bottom line IN MY OPINION is this is a fishermens site. So please, save the edicate for the dinner table keep up the great work on the loc we all love to fish and ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,crap brb,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,think i just sharted,,,,,,,,kicked my weenie(dog)on the way to the bathroom, looked at my favorate photo of my "Little Dink", and just sat on my favorate" proctoligist" With Love and respect toall soccer moms. P.S. have you ever evesdroped in a 12 year old clubhouse ,or womens circle, If mass. can hand out condoms to 10 yr olds with eplantions how their used ,then we can share with other fishermen and women how good our "big weenie " works..

Stanly, the boat looks good ,shes all set for Ontario maybe a tad low in the back for 4 ftrs, but a great looking platform. We dont quite have the senery view tho. Grease them bearings and head east. or cheeper yet leave the boat get a sign that says "L.O or Bust"and break out the , well get ya on a boat ,Hmm skippys out that way often and ya might pull some time on the wheel while him and cher "rest" in the sleeper. thanks for the post.

here are some tips from some of the top charters over the years.... http://www.attheoak.com/tips.html -
2 yups up to 65 lb power pro has worked the best for me..
-
just so ya know you wont read voltage off the 2 wires there is a little guy in the moter that wont turn on the power unless its hooked to a battery and voltage is needed,(load) If your killin 2 batteries in i day of trollin your changing lures too much, or ya got the a/c set to low,or your 600watt mega bass booster amp is too loud ,or ya got a short or current draw somewhere on the boat im thinkin the last.....with my old nonchargin kicker i would get all day with 1 batt with juice to start main no problem..
-
i think the better way to spend the day might be to take my video and chair to a busy launch and enjoy the show.

ok,ok maybe it is cavation 40 mph is really bookin ,, cavation actually will cause heat buildup on the backside of the prop and you will see pitting on the surface...gotta be something with the dangle of the angle im justa plummer ..hey just dont go 10 to 15 mph
-
Yea , ya mighta been a tad deep for this time of year,120 with a 10 lb rigger should put your bait at at around 100ft actual at a 2.4troll speed .............. But bottom line ya got to taste a couple fights way to go!!!.. thats the good news, the bad news is I think YOU and your FRIEND just got HOOKED... if your near the corning area send me a pm maybe we can get a second rigger on your boat..
-
what glen said on the battery (1 bad) but my honda pull has a 6 amp charger but only at higher rpm, On a dead calm day (buffy weather) my one battery (all i have ) will give me" low batt warning " on my vhf screen ... thats pary of issue with pull starts or any smaller motors ...kinda defeats the pourpose of savin gas but you could toss a small trollin bag just to keep the rpms up to a better charge rate...on breezy days with rpms up going in wind i never get the "low batt warning"

Iwas gonna name my boat after my first cat she was the best pet i ever had to this day...but i was single back then and somehow rather it was true or not i was afraid it would hurt my chances of picking up my dream girl for the night. Its been many years sench her passing but i still think of her (my cat) often .., , , , , , , yes even after all these years of marrage i still miss my "LITTLE DINK" hey she was a small cat.....hmmm wish she was bigger then ida used her name on my boat..

Yea like i belive that im heading to the garden and start warming up some worms! I ant Stupid!!! . . . Hmmpf,mi moulf mis mull mas my mype.... -
Psst: (reelpower) it was a ball valve in the carb.(read post) Maybe the oll 12 lb sledge would of got it going... Ive been running reg gas sence it was introduced in the pumps without a problem .Much has been discussed here over the years about it ..And if everything is good just run it as it is ..(no add.)...........Biggest concern is with fiberglass tanks being dissolved or attacked by the new stuff, older fuel lines , and the "non typical " gas lines (older or cheap) used on some outboard boats ,the quick dissconnect types ,seems to be of a lesser grade and little chunkies will find their way to the "carb jets" usually the High speed jets. At seasons end i would consider a good rebuild on the carb and proper ultrasonic cleaning if he didnt do it allready..some over the shelf cleaners will "attack" the factory coating in the carb soooo make shure ya get a book ,or a good mechanic to do the job....

waneta lake musky fishing
ray koziatek replied to bob 13's topic in Musky, Tiger Musky & Pike (ESOX)
Maybe its because they eat those rare baby ducks, and geese. Or someone got scratched by one back in 1942 and the story has grown as to how they can take down small boats,,,,Like jet skies .. Yup just a few years ago 4 kids were attacked by a school of flesh eating Musky's,nuttin left but their life jackets!! -

Ive seen many "football browns",but this year more and more football kings.........smelt in the belly or mooneye -
i DID NOT NEED TO SEE THIS POST. opps been debating erie or the oak, guess i better mow the lawn tight and look for worms tonight. after last years poor performance on the east end of erie wonder if that explaines the numbers of larger fish. Ill bet those "pearch nets" are a little heavy this year. The salmon of the oak "Thank You "for this post ,and Me too.

Good weekend for me, but not for my gear
ray koziatek replied to Missdemeanor's topic in Open Lake Discussion
matt its all part of the learning curve, just yesterday i lost a bobber and hook and my barbie pole.....I hope their in the shed. after my last 2 derbys ive done more damage to rods rideing back and forth to the lake in the boat than fish damage.. I forgot to meet the deadline for osweago so maybe i have a chance of getting some fish.big enuf to actually trip a release. -
NO Thank you for sharing your story! Bet ya oll hubby will smacking and-a wiggiling his pole in the back of the boat next time he clears weeds (fishing ploe ).. PS.ask Chad about the nice cruse hes gonna take his ( EX ) wife on....
