thats what we mean when we say empty fuel tank!!!!try putting in 5 gal or shorter trips ....as stated leak in hose clamp(tank end) or pickup tube in tankmaybe small seam leak in pickup tube part way down after a few gallons it starts to suck air kinda wierd that air dont get sucked through ....hey if the moter runs ok then it must be leak at moter if it goes soft after shutting down and the fuel siphons back to tank...if it sotra skips at high rpm id guess the moterfuel connection bad "o" ring or seal ....

Great report 8 days till prefish time..........

go to pro am site and tell them you would like to sign to be a observer(diff number for each derby) your last shot for this year is oswego or sodus and most boats invite you to prefish with them and youd should be able to get some hands on action.i go up 390 a lot to THE OAK and will be prefishing oswego tues through fri if you ant in the LOC derby you ant fishing my boat if its during one but your welcome to jump on i post open invites when ever i go if there is room (but not when i plan on serious buffy fishing)

usually marine stuff has brass on contacts and springs less prone to corrosion ,napa has some good prices if you know someone with a discount (auto shop) .. they carry or can order most marine parts just call and give part number for merc and its in there computer some of the new guys (at napa)have issues going through catalog.the discount price i get is the same cost as most marine dealers ,i never have to go to marine dealers ,got everything from cables ,flywheel adapters,pump impellers, pistons ,filters,gaskets ...pret-much everything...and its all merccruiser packaged

if your smarter than any COOK you can be a observer ,basicly you write down fish caught,approxment weight,time,gps cord.(captian will show to you),and if the boat your on has a really hot spot CALL ME and tell me whats working depth and gps cord.(location) (ill give you 200.00 if we take first place)..as the cook above mentioned you will hopefully learn a lot....and dont forget to bring bannans for the crew.

a good welder with some reinforcing plates can fix that in less than a hour the factory weld was also never done right looks like the seam was too far apart and they tried to bridge the weld,and ditto the rust,but was just bad to start with.i ant no expert but have dabbled in welding34 years.. galf. is sparky to weld but some reinforcment will do trick specially on the roads nowadays..you can see the ground edge on the right in pic which means also not enuf heat was distributed to both sides some one rushed a littleto keep it looking neat but strength was lost.... maybe we all better inspect from now on

the dec has closed browntrout fishing for july and august so ya better run 10 miles offshore to win!

too late your gone already but i use flouraclear its a mono line with some invasable coating (must be i cant see it) i tried flouracarbon 1x years ago when it first came out ...been part of steuben landfill ever sence my first trip loosing fish..

drag a trebble hook on the bottom you should be able to retrive a few copper rigs .and my new spinning rod

yea i was just gonna edit and say the same thing... so the 20 ft in .9 sec was a pretty good guess fer a plummer and i figureded that out with a free google search not a 2million dollar grant on fish farts and such
