Well you cane to the right site for such a question, treated as with all lumber is is graded ,#1and#2 are the most common ratings.#1 is obv. the best with fewer knots, scalped edges ,and open grain usually from smaller dia wood or the center of the log area. All three of these can cause excessive warping, weak spots and diffulacty working with and slivers or seperation in a few years.Usually the box stores carry #2 so ask around ,also this time of year the demand or turnover of treated is very low and when stored indoors unbanded is very susatable to excessive drying which causes warping and what is available is pretty well picked over as youve already found. throw in a underexperianced personall to remove the really bad stuff or keep piles stacked even and ya got a pile of twisted ,knotty, scalped lumber.find a ma and pa store (not too small) that store treated outdoors and youll find better looking lumber .but if you bring it indoors for small projects it can warp after a while of drying.clearer grain and #1 treating process is the way to go. but hey iz just a plummer.

rod why 24 v you can get a good push with 12v
-
lets see the 6 volters are generally larger than a 12 v so whats the question
-
Rod if he hired for me to be his first mate,if he put his anchor out there woulb be 6 ft of chain after the roe and it would hold, the index screw would be in the throttle lever thingy and he wouldnt have to pay hundreds of dollars to have something not fixed that i could in 15 min,nor would he show u[p for a planed trip with a inoperative boat ,he wouldnt have to worry about his 2000.00 radar unit falling off his boat cause i would design a support for use on the water in various conditions, and he would outfish all the ther boats around him using my basic knowlage of the species in water ive never fished.so am i on the team or not? If not i could help you relive the lost plug episodes!!!!!! now you wouldnt want that would you!.........BOOM !!!!!

Well how do you start a post with a title like that? As some may know My friend Jason is heading off to the world seeking another path to freedom(retirement).Sunday he will be heading to C.O.training ,so my son Casey & I took advantage of this warm day to share one more trip fishing together with Jason. Well as always the trip starts on this keyboard doing the weather checking wind ,temp, ect.and as always (almost) the man (weather) had his lucky guess pretty close the gentle s/e wind at 8 mph somehow managed to straighten the flags along the rt to the launch with the equivlency of 15plus winds ,and the water complemented the wind with 4 ft swells with cut little white caps.the temp was about 15 deg colder but that didnt slow us to our last trip before sunday.within min of deploying our secret weapons the rods were singing.the planers were out of our agenda due to the winds (stan) so it was dypsys and riggers day ,we landed 26 acording to my counter (jason) several in the 5,6 lb class with many smaller thrown in the mix . We pulled the plug around 4pm with a good days catch.between the 3 of us we had the fish cleaned in no time split our bounty and with a final hand shake and a hug i wished my friend well on his journy.................was the ups and downs of the day due to the mistated weather? Or was it from the 4 ft swells we encountered south of long point,it could of been the raising and lowering of riggers dypsys and fish,,,.,No it was "up" when he knocked on the door at 0615 this morning to start our day ,and it was "down" after our handshake and friendly embrace as he walked to his truck. Good friends are few and far between ,Good fishing buddies are even fewer and farther in between ..GOOD LUCK JASON.(now who can i blame my mistakes on?)
