    You know GIRLS I ain't sold everything ,I still have 3 snoopy poles and a canoe . Don't make me get in this the lake would rise 2 ft with all yer tears when I land the big boy..

    Lots of good granny launches out there ,forgot plugs,forgot beer,dead batteries,wonderfull trailer handling,NO Clue to launch etiquette.. Now that I have sold the boat maybe a front row seat at the boat launch ..

    My sister lives on Keuka and I tell ya on the weekend all the grandchildren show up (around the lake)and the boat handling skills arn't too good when that happens.In over 50 years of boating I would give Keuka the worst place to be on a busy weekend. Jet skies,tubers,sailers,sking,fishermen,sightseer's,and the guys who like too show off their fast boats with beer in belly...I know its a 45mph lake during "normal" use but not a hour goes by that someone exceeds the speed limit ...But it is a beautiful lake with a lot of expensive property that would get damaged with boating waves,not to mention the possability of personal injury with all the crap out there floating ..And the Sheriff would be overwhelmed with calls..(no coast guard)..Also with many roads washed out and the town of PennYan reeling from the flash flood the Sheriff will have their hands full with road traffic.

    6435 post ago I clicked onto "Lake Ontario United".. Little did I know how it would change my path in life. Yes their were the debates of "To Snub or not to Snub"..... Then single or treble.... Speed Speed Speed..... Of course the number "14" will always have a special meaning..... L.O.U.S.E.R.S...Were Born...... "Plugs"were lost and Pink Towels found..... Friendships were formed and Friends have passed..... Did I mention speed speed speed????? Some of us even lernt new ways to use the keyboard..... Spelll chec no waa dont need that..... puzzles,derbys,even yer clubs were spared as uncle Jerry smashed yer red car..... Yes you were single then "do ya even rember what Golf was" ????? That was pre children.... I could fill the server with memmories many would wonder what the heck i was talking about..
