washed some spoons on seneca yesterday for a couple hrs thought things would have been better with the storm comming but late start 1st rel. 25 down blue dolphin lost fish, 2nd 200ft back off planer i split shot or /wh,6lb brwn 2 eels, released fish kepted the eels ,3rd laker gr dolphin 7 color lead kept fish and eels.........100% fish with eels on seneca still.

the dew and glow look pretty hot do ya use the big flashers to move em around and how long a lead?

what to do next made some new lures ,taped some ,taped the taped ones over sharpened all hooks to the eyes ,dont know if i should organize lures by color, size,alphabetacly,should i store them with the cups up or down,or the hooks to the rear of the box or front,i wonder if i waxed my spoons if id get better gas millage????????the wife has been doing needle point next to me on the couch hey that kinda looks like fun,, im ready to start a support group in the chatroom ,,,there comming to take me away ha,ha,he,he,ho,ho............. :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock:

the unit works good i was just missled by the salesman at bass pro but he was reading the box the same as i with the label listing dual freq. and the instruction manual listing dual freq. also , i just dont like being missled by the packaging or salesman i saved a long time to buy this unit and i even dislike more waiting over1 hr total time on hold to get a answer. specally one ya dont want to hear , ill get over it but ill never forget it for the next 30 years i will stear anyone who brings up fishfinder/gps units in another direction than this brand ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :evil: :evil:

COPPER , well the concept is about 100 yrs old just a little different as now you use a pole that gives the fish more leverage ,does it work ,yup kinda a stelth presentation 400 ft plus back nice little hum catches the fishys latteral line then the spoon,bait goes by and ya reel in your fish and 400 ft of water draging copper ,goodline to have out unless you find a dime size pod of steelies or coho buy the time you get turned around tha bites off..to be honest i dont even run dypsys unless im in a search mode or everyones shy .nothing worse than having to clear longlines 3or 4 times a hour so ya dont wrap a rigger release around it ..ya get up set your beer on the ledge turn around it falls in the boat ya grab it set it on the ledge and by the time your longline is reeled in the beers flat and your rigger rod is nearly spooled .man i need a big fish on this wind is killing me i can hadle 40 deg but not 30mph winds .. stay with dypsys when ya need the stelth and use the riggers 95 % of the time your beer will stay fresher and youll enjoy fishing better ,,, the Opinion of a polish plummer RAY K.

cant be shure of that but there has been a lot of boats in these areas for what few times ive been by there like 15 to 20 at a time, they probly ant there to complaine ,but i dont perch fish so all i know is ive seen boats there if ya got reports for shure please go for the shure thing ,but over the years these areas have been go to spots...I can put ya on some landlocks or browns,lakers are a no brainer just fish 90 to 120 ft anywhere and you should get a laker unless your in 30 ft water then you should be hung up on bottom :shock:

Last year at bass pro i bought a fishstrike 1000c the sales man and i dissused my needs and opted for this unit as it was capable of every thing i need with the possiablities of upgrading to dual frequency they even had a catologe number for dual transducer ,..when i called bass pro today they were sold out of dual transducers and suggested i call LEI electronics after 37min on hold i was told this unit is only sgl freq. and to call EAGLE another 34min on hold and was told this unit was in fact 200khz only even though the box has a sticker listing both freq. and the instruction manual says ;;;Frequency:.......................Depending on transducer,either 50/200khz dual-frequency or 200khz single -frequency........Transmitter DUAL-FREQUENCY 8000WATTS peak to peak ....Single frequency3000watts peak to peak 375 watts rms ,,,,,,,,,,, the box states also 4000 watts 500wattsRMS the technician i spoke with said "well im sorry the box is misslabled and the instruction manual should of been worded differently i dont know what to tell ya is there anything else i can help you with " SO IF YOUR THINKING OF GETTING A FISH FINDER DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT A .....EAGLE OR LAWRANCE JUST BECAUSE THE BOX AND THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL SAYS IT WILL PERFORM A CERTAN TASK IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN WORDED DIFFERENTLY %$$##$%$##$%$%$$#ex EAGLE OWNER ...............

mostly 0to50 ft colors 15 to 30 ish best range , on the bottom I tried the new style hook from the noseeum lure of reeljerks,hope everyone uses the new hooks during the derby's,,,,,,,,,,I have no problem with green as long as it a small diag strip on a big shiney silver spoon on a sunny day,,,

phew lucky i got a kid at home to do that ,,,top flr/wht blk dot--landl locks,brown cohos,2nd wh with or glow diag,,LL, laker, brownchoho,steelie,,,3rd--laker ,brown,steelie,,,4th or/wht,silver ladder new tape job ,5th with gold ladder new,6th- brass/or .ladder everything,,,7th new nk blank with added ladder dimpled should be better than 6,,8-- gold with chartruce stripe nk blank with added tape sorta like the silver dan keeting uses for kings (silver yellow stripe) just a dirty water color all these work in brown to green to clear water #2 and #6 are always in in the spring on seneca and the big pond LO. #1 is always in on seneca looking for LL.and coho slider on LO.
