when most think of bows they think speed, which is important. If ya been around bows a few years (I started 42 yrs ago) youve seen as many changes and Improvements .sorta like going from altari game to the play station of today.. compare different brands and a important question for "today" is not so much speed but "coefficency" a extra 4 to 8oz in weight is worth the extra 10 to 15% in efficency gained...TRUST ME. I went from a good Martin to a Used "mathews outback" i was shooting tighter groups the first day with the mathews at 50 yds than with the martin at 40yds and would never consider a 50 yd shot till now...Im now shootin 6 in groups at 50 yds and dont consider myself a "good "bow shooter...but the mathews improved me 50 % .. So i see your post and its about PERCH, Rats.. I dont get it seems like free time is a thing of the past, from over 100 days a season fishin ontario (maybe 20 this year) ,,usually 5 to 10 trips to erie (none this year),10 to 20 trips to salmon river a norm (2 this year)................ Geese maybe i need to hire myself out as "fishing guide"............... I only hope i can get cought up with all these heating systems BEFORE hunting season.. ....................................................ARRRRRRRGH.....................................................

7 for the long shot like skippy said 300 yd no problem 400 very doable with some practice and hand loaded rounds for acuracy...need a guide , waterboy, ammo lugger............I had a friend reload some .270..6 rounds in a 1.25 in circle 3 touching off a bench at 100 yds, I was impressed with homeloads over factory....with 3 min cool time between each shot..very important..............i do have a few military loads for 30-06 you can shoot through a 8in oak and still drop the elk

UT OH... I went to hillsvally store today and mentioned i saw the spinny sale well me being me I didnt see the cut off date and I mentioned i saw the sale here .....well time flys and the sale was well over but they wernt shure how to edit so I told him how and its been done ....Feel kinda bad that they gave me the sale price so I guess ill have to get back their soon ... I was impressed with the assortment of ,Hunting ,trapping, camping and specially the must have spoons and flys any of us would need for local AND ontario Lakes. Guess ive been missing a "GEM " of a store in my back yard (18 mi) they have a big store assortment of goods,a helpfull mom and pop "can I help you ? " attitude, with very reasonable pricing.... I can see my internal map will lead me to southport to get a few of those AHEM, MUST HAVE items my wife and I will need for future fishing and hunting trips....OPPS forgot they dont sell yarn or knitting needles.guess the wife will have to stay home whew!
