  1. Good Stuff! When I bought my boat on the Cape, my surveyor was also a local fishing capt Mostly Tuna. He had some great stories about the fleet and how the show came about. Said most of the guys are down to earth folk. He filled me in on what is real and what is not. That whole price for the fish at the dock hasn't been real in 20 years. Strictly for Drama. They don't know how much they made per fish for a few weeks and it hasn't been 20 dollars a pound in recent memory. He also told me some of the capts that quit the show got tired of reeling in concrete blocks for production B roll... LOL Either way it is entertaining like any other made for tv drama. And they do a great job at portraying Harbor Drama!!! Almost scary how well it matches other fishing communities!!

  10. You got it, the tricky part is bleeding the system. Helps if you have a second person. There are also some good videos on the process on youtube. Also one other install trick is to mount valves before the pump. That way if the pump ever fails you can swap it out easily without draining the system and should make re priming much easier. Good luck and it is a great upgrade to any boat.

  17. It maybe hard to find someone running a shoot thru style as it isn't a common ducer. I ran a p75 about ten years ago on an x-19 lowrance and it gave me a nice picture. Maybe do a search at the www.thehulltruth.com and see if anything pops up. Even if a guy is running it with a Simrad that is the virtually the same as a lowrance. Good luck.
  18. BOE Marine is the place to find it. There customer service before and after the sale is second to none.
  19. Rick check out the post in the open lake section. I am not sure if we have any tables left.
  20. Gill-T you need to own this boat!!!
  21. Ok we are just over a month out on our Tackle sale and Seminars on March 17! I wanted to give you guys and gals time to plan so here are the speakers and the times. Brian Hammond and Dave Klock, two of the most knowledgeable local Walleye Pro's will be talking "Tournament Winning Walleye" Techniques at 945 am in the Seminar room. These guys are on the pulse of the Walleye's in Oneida Lake. If you are a Walleye fisherman you wont want to miss their Seminar. And to finish of the Seminars we will have Capt. Matt French from Missdeameanor Sportfishing out of Rochester NY talking about "Hunting Offshore Salmon and Trout". Matt has been fishing the mid section of Lake Ontario for 20 plus years and routinely takes nice catches out of the middle of the lake. A couple topics he will cover are Catching bug suckers, Mixed Steel and King programs and Meat in the ice water! Matt is a wealth of knowledge and we cant wait to hear what he has to share with us. He will be speaking at 10:45 am in the seminar room. I will be adding to this as I get more information but we have sold 31 of 33 available tables. This is 5 more tables then we have had in the past. Several retiring and current Capts will have there gear on sale, as well as tackle company's like GAMBLER rigs will be onsite.
