The GP-7000/NT is a GPS/WAAS plotter designed for a variety of vessels desiring video plotting capabilities. With the GP-7000 series, you can see the highly accurate position of your boat on the chart. The GP-7000 series has four display modes: Course Plot, Nav Data, Steering, and Highway modes. The course plot mode is useful for obtaining general information about surrounding sea areas. The Nav data mode clearly shows important navigational information with large text, which is easy to see even from a distance. The steering mode and highway mode assist the operator in following a predetermined route. The GP-7000 series uses C-Map/NT+ MAX charts. These charts provide navigational information including water depth, contours, coastlines, lighthouses, buoys, etc. The use of the SD cards facilitates the management of the expanded chart data. GP7000/NT Specifications: *High-performance GPS/WAAS receiver *Sunlight viewable 7" TFT bright color LCD (wide 16:9 aspect ratio) *Compatible with C-Map NT+ chart cards *Dual SD card slots for memory and chart cards (Conventional SD cards can be used for waypoint/route backup. Please note that previously available FP cards ARE NOT USED with the GP-7000 Series) *Enhanced chart redraw speed *Display modes: Course Plot, Nav Data, Steering, Highway *User-friendly interface and operation with rotary encoder and soft keys *Includes GPA017 GPS/WAAS antenna with 10M cable *Power Requirements: 12-24 VDC, 1.5-0.8 Amps *With Dash Bracket(no flush mount kit) Also comes with C map card for Lake Ontario south shore $850.00 plus shipping. I would rather be us than them. Our Bureau of Fisheries does not support the proposal. These guys in the face of a lot of adversity have given us a pretty consistant world class fishery . I would think they know just a little bit. I had a great conversation with a region 7 director the other evening at a Federation presidents dinner and didnt hear anything of the sort....I was more interested in discussing with him why we have 10in alewives and the reasons behind us not stressing the bait pop in Lake O... I think a few capts here will agree with me that our stocking efforts are not what they should be. We should not be seeing 10in alewives in our lake period.... As far as a 3 rod rule it doesnt change a thing with bag limits in place. DEC doesnt tell me how many arrows I can carry in my quiver to deer hunt but they sure do tell me how many deer I can shoot... Think about it for just a minute.......

Wouldnt ever think of putting it out even when its flat calm high sun.

There are a few places like Jeff said, I get mine at Bass Pro. If you want to try em make sure you change the pads to offshore pads, they will last twice as long. They also take awhile to break in, so I try to break in a bunch of pads every spring!

Anybody know what frequency the Fishhawk is? I have 50/200 on my Furuno, and I am adding a Garmin GPS but installing a thru hull as a back up FF and am thinking about an 83kh transducer for that. I am installing a fishhawk as well and want to make sure it wont interfere. Thanks Brian -
He wont drive it any different then Rick trying to back it in!

Yesterday while hunting I had an opportunity to harvest an Albino doe. Her nose was pink and I couldnt get an exact look at her eyes but she was totally white. I was texting a few friends about this deer after I saw her the first time and they were all telling me not to shoot as it is considered bad luck.. Well she returned later in the morning and well I decided to try and take her however my loader decided to have wet powder instead... Now it has started a debate with my friends and myself as to "if I should have tried to harvest this animal or just enjoyed the moment". I am interested in hearing opinions on this issue. Thanks, Brian
