  1. We always run cheaters above the attractors. We also handle them like Reeljerks does. When there are Fish to catch in Mexico Bay (ha ha) that cheater above the the attractor can get HOT!!!!!!!! You need to think about your lead off the ball with the attractor if you are running it more than 12 feet you could tangle because you giving that attractor a long leash. In a king set my leads are typically short so I can run that cheater with little problems.
  2. Ray, Should have kept driving a little. I was told Olcott was SICK sat and sun with everyone done with a box by 1015 with a lot of Matures. Here is hoping they are swimming eastbound!!!!!!! Brian
  3. I see 4 am teams in the top 10 of the pre fish derby on Friday. 3 fish is 3 fish cant get any easier. Makes it a very level playing field. In fact I worry more about the am teams because there programs are tweaked to big fish and not just numbers like the pros are looking for. See everyone in Sodus and the Captain Jacks Shootout on Friday. We will be Docked at Capt. Jacks all week stop over and say hello. Capt. Brian Team Tall Tails
  4. How about the big fish from the first weekend of June and the Big fish from the Orleans Derby, that would still be leading the Summer LOC had they got in. Never say never! There was a rumor of a 30 pounder taken yesterday that was not in either. As a good friend of mine says GOTTA BE IN IT TO WIN IT!!!!!!!!! Its gonna take a 32 to win this thing over the next 2 weeks! 5. I wish you hadnt said we were there to make a living! No body owns the water including us Charter captains! Every one should fish like every boat is pullin a 600 Copper!!! I understand there are traffic issues week in and week out but just follow rules of the road, and most of the time it works out. Greg is right look for your own fish and keep your mouth shut on the radio you will most likely have the spot to yourself, if you say something on the radio and boats come your way its your own fault. 10. They are afraid of the big boat!!
  11. From what I heard this last weekend southwick area was smokin!!!!!!!!!
  12. Check out Cisco Fishing systems. I had really goog luck with these guys and there service is second to none. I put a 10 rod rocket launcher on my baha this spring. www.ciscofishingsystemsltd.com Brian
  13. You must bring an observer, but they will be assigned a different boat, and you will recieve one from another team. Yes he means a fishing lic.
  14. One other good one! I had Jerry's brother in law on board one day and I think he was thirsty by the end of the day he was spillin some great spoon programs and spoons!! Pro-Ams are a great place to Learn! Yankee dont forget to pack the fish beater, and Duct Tape to seal the cooler! Good Luck to everyone!
  15. Dont worry Yankee a few more years of fishing these and you will have plenty!! My list could go on and on! See you next weekend. We will be there starting Sunday for 2 weeks. Brian
  16. My observer last year in the Oswego Pro- Am who had a broken ankle when he got on board and then we kept hearing this beeping sound while we were fishing, he kept saying it was his cell phone. Turned out it was his Pace Maker shocking his heart!!! He had only had it installed 3 weeks prior to getting on my boat!!! And to top it off he couldnt read or write!! The best part Jerry got him the following week in Sodus!!!!!!!! HA HA HA!!!!!
  17. Thanks Guys! One of these days I will give you the run down and some pics of the new ride! It was interesting to say the least. Clarke- sorry to hear about your niagara trip! Motoman- way to put another one on the board!! Rich- Nice to see your boat in the water!! Good luck this weekend to everyone!! Brian
  18. It was a pleasure to meet you Motoman on Saturday! Wish I woulda had time to B.S. but I was trying to finish up a few last minute details on the new ride. I had Charters all weekend so we went to work sat morn. Saturday was a tough bite for us as we tried to figure out the new boat and realized I had forgotten a battery for the Depth Raider!!! Which means I should just go back to the Dock! We managed a few fish to put blood in the new boat. Sunday was a different story as we proceeded to initiate the new boat. We destroyed kings for about 2 to 3 hours on Mag spoons. Staying out of the traffic seemed to hold bigger fish so we concetrated our efforts there. Numourous doubles, singles and a triple! Gotta love the room in the back of the Baha!! Our bite was all riggers!!! Mag spoons. Hillarys Favorite Panties in Fuzzy bear was our stud spoon!! We doubled with the fish we put on the board and another one, the one we dropped was bigger than the 20 pounder with out a doubt. Only advice I have is Stay away from the armada and you will catch bigger fish. All of our fish were high teenagers. It was nice to put a fish on the board for a customer even though it wont stay. Good Luck to all we will be back at it Friday!
  19. Due date for Niagara pro am is May 26th
  20. I do the same thing only with a fly.
  21. Penn Yan Gunnels are typically short. All the Penn yans I have fished on or seen have had to have raised downrigger mounts or boards for extra freeboard. Cant fall out of a BAHA!!!!!!

  23. I would mount the board the board Jimski is talking about. Thru hulls are not really an option with aluminum hulls. Also with thru hulls and trailers you gotta be perfect every time you load. Mount the board with 4 holes and you wont have to drill another one. Good luck with your new ride!
  24. www.ciscofishingsystemsltd.com Just placed my order to rig my new to me boat. I got everything from them and color is not an extra charge. They have 5 colors to choose from.
