The following list (from reddit) are proposals that the Democrats in the New York State assembly wanted included in the recent gun ban bill, but didn’t make it through. It looks like they tried to keep this list a secret, but there’s an old phrase about sunlight and disinfectant.
Confiscation of “assault weaponsâ€
Confiscation of ten round clips
Statewide database for ALL Guns
Continue to allow pistol permit holder’s information to be replaced to the public
Label semiautomatic shotguns with more than 5 rounds or pistol grips as “assault weaponsâ€
Limit the number of rounds in a magazine to 5 and confiscation and forfeiture of banned magazines
Limit possession to no more than two (2) magazines
Limit purchase of guns to one gun per person per month
Require re-licensing of all pistol permit owners
Require renewal of all pistol permits every five years
State issued pistol permits
Micro-stamping of all guns in New York State
Require licensing of all gun ammo dealers
Mandatory locking of guns at home
Fee for licensing, registering weapons
Tim, they do more than 32 shows internationally and only two to my knowledge are gun/outdoor related, thats why they really don't care - a drop in the bucket for them.
Yes a battle has been won. Now the war begins as Ms. Diane Feinstein introduces into the Senate a proposal to ban assault weapons including ARs, handguns and shotguns.
three out of the four primary sponsors pulled out (Cabelas, Outdoor Channel, Comcast) leaving only the activist liberal company Progressive Insurance remaining
NYS Assemblyman DiPietro revises petition signature goal to 5,000 after more than 1,500 signatures in 72hrs

I just turned off the presidents inauguration because as I watched him speak I kept replaying his recent words that he will initiate "a political campaign" against the NRA and by proxy, our 2nd Amendment rights...
for the first time in my life i feel complete abandonment by my elected leadership...
I am sick, but not tired...
We need to pressure the "stars" to boycott (wadell, shockey, etc) also the outdoor channel who broadcasts all their shows. Some have voluntarily withdrawn, but not enough
I have a Mac and had no issues Thereare some very good statistics in the book, if worried about a virus don't download it just read it in your web browser.
Download and read the PDF, which contains FACTS we can use to help educate ourselves but more importantly the misinformed "majority" of Americans that are OK with the nonsensical laws and executive orders...

shame on me for being asleep, but now i am awakened... one of too many signs to not be taken seriously
this should awake every american regardless of their current position on gun rights and ownership

These should also be sent to local and national news outlets and/or posted to their and other social media sites where discussions of gun control are centered
We need to aggressively educate those citizens that Obama, Cuomo and the other anti-gun proponents are targeting (and depending on) with lies and mis-information.
I am deeply offended, and find it despicable, that the president and governor used blatant lies, innuendo (i.e., that a bushmaster assault riffle was used to kill children in Sandy Hook - from INITIAL and recent media reports - NOT true) and children to advance actions to ban and restrict our rights to gun ownership.
This "war" (and make no mistake war has been declared) will be won by presenting factual information to those people who are being swayed by a maelstrom of misinformation and lies. For without an informed "majority" it will be difficult to overcome the dirty tricks being employed against us.
Kudos to him - he made a very informed and eloquent argument, unfortunately to no avail. Sadly, standup Assembly representatives like him must be in the minority or else this unjust law wouldn't have passed. Heavy handed Cuomo politics at its darkest.
IMHO...debating the intricacies of the new laws is not what we should be focused on at this time, but rather how we are going to quickly become solidified as a group of like citizens and become annoyingly active and vocal in fighting against these and future politically motivated aggressions against our freedom, in particular veiled actions that do nothing to solve the issues for which they are being justified. The cards are stacking against us.
The days of simply writing a check and letting the NRA handle it are over. We can no longer sit back and be passive...the time has come to get off the couch/computer and do something more, and NOW.
I had a hi-torque Honda 8 on a larger boat and found adjusting the cable control to get very small throttle adjustments near impossible. Even though having the control at the helm was ultra convenient, i would explore non-cable options as well
