  1. Swap the powerpacks first and see if non firing cylinders switch sides. Had the same issue with. 110 once. [ Post made via BlackBerry Curve ]
  2. Try 36 to 42 inches.
  3. Weather was great and we got a few in 90 fow off of the bluffs.
  4. Thermocline intersect in 85 fow West of plant has been good the last couple of days. Heard good reports from up North too.
  5. The fish have arrived in Mexico Bay and West of Nine Mile. No need to go deep.
  6. They are custom built to order Adam. You can find some info on his website but you can contact Captain Ernie or myself to discuss. We aren't able to build too many during the fishing season but can squeak a few out. I have pretty much every model we make at my house if you ever wanted to check some over. BTW, boat looked good on the water the other day. That was me that yelled over to you when you were pulling up to the dock.
  7. We had a blast today for sure. Great day on the water. F8epoWhIW8k
  8. Fishing was a little slow for us. One white marlin to the boat in the first half hour. Missed one blue marlin later in the day. The boat was amazing. This is the flagship yacht for Volvo Penta and their IPS engine and control system. Uses about 40% less fuel than equivalent boats with standard inboards. Cruised at 30 knots.
  9. I'll be out on this Thursday morning. I'll be posting a video when I get back.
  10. Try putting a wet cloth over the antenna. Try sprinkling water on the antenna and you'll see it come right on.

I am kind of new to fishing Oneida. What/where is the half-a-house?

Fished from 7 to 10 this morning. Drifting harnesses around Bouys 123 and 121, 32 to 40 fow. We stayed on the outside edge of the pack and caught 11, 6 keepers. Pretty much all on various patterns on copper blades. Plain, red edge, confusion w/ red beads. Been doing pretty well the last few weekends as well. Hot blade last weekend for us in the sun was the clown pattern.
  13. Thanks for the kind words fellas. The kids have had a blast with the browns this spring. I have had a blast watching them!
  14. Joined Captain Kevin for some brown trout action in Mexico Bay this morning. Emily and Owen each got their personal bests. Beauty morning on the water for sure.
  15. I have a 55# Ipilot on my 17 foot Mirrocraft. I haven't used it in high winds or current yet but have run it in fairly calm conditions. The cruise control works awesome, the autopilot wanders a little bit but not bad. Have't tried the anchor function or the track function yet. Really like for what I use it for - mostly drifting crawler harnesses on open water. I really like the wireless remote over the foot pedal.
  16. Had a good time today and managed a couple for the kids to weigh in for the youth division.
  17. Thanks for your opinion. Both kids had life jackets on. It is a state law up here that they always wear them if they are under 12 and everyone must have one between Nov 1 and May 1 if your boat is under a certain length.
  18. I really like my Garmin 540S. I have always run Garmin fishinders and have had great luck with them too. Can't speak to their customer service as I have never needed it.
  19. Nice going Kevin. We didn't get there until 9 and put together a nice couple of hours. We went a little west of the Little Salmon. All natural stuff in 10 feet or so. I put up a video that shows the details on the video page.
  20. Another fun day! Leti0dPOGN4
  21. Sound quality is not the best on the first one but that is what you get when winds are gusting to 30!
  22. Nice going fellas and glad we could help out. Interesting how you guys got the mixed bag and we only ended up with browns.
  23. I use the triple Riviera Boards for my coppers and like they way they run. Have run a 500 and a 400 off of one at one time.
  24. We run a fair bit of copper and what has worked well for us is to terminate your braided backing to the Spro swivel using a Figure 8 loop knot. Tie the loop with a large loop about two feet long, then half hitch the loop through the swivel. When you hook on your release (Scottys for the big boards, Offshore OR-18s on the inlines) you hook it onto the doubled line on the loop. Seems to hold great. There are a few vidoes on the Fish Doc site about rigging copper, I don't think the loop knot tip has made it on there yet though.
