  2. Wow, there's a fish of a lifetime out of Cayuga! Congrats Jared & Cannon!
  3. Same here Kevin, I have collected a few victrolas over the years, but my go-to was always my grandfather's. Twisted copper and a twin minnow usually.
  4. ...same here, third-generation trolling rigs and pulling copper, the routine since I was 5 on Cayuga (now I mostly jig), but definitely great memories!

  6. These two electric-powered victrolas from (many) days gone by were probably crafted in the 1960s, but unsure. ...edit - found a good home!

  8. I really enjoy using my Garmin, very user-friendly. I once added a Panoptix PS30 transducer for lake trout jigging, but find that traditional 2D honestly works plenty well enough to find fish and easily view the jig. I use a GT15 transducer. Teasing a school of perch in the top pic, stack of lake trout in the other...
  9. Thanks JK! ...I'll holler at ya when the boat is out of hibernation and ready
  10. Thank you, I'll send a pm with info

  12. Green frog was a favorite here too, also as a flatfish. Orange was a family favorite staple for a couple generations before me, but that black/white was always a sure bet!
  13. Hi Joel, check your mail...
  14. Spent many hours on Cayuga pulling copper in the small Starcraft (3rd generation), such a productive and fun way to catch lakers. A black/white twin minnow was my go-to, collected them along with Sutton spoons for rig fishing. As long as the lure was ticking bottom you were in luck. Trolled with my grandfather's victrola as a young kid, but was gifted a 3-spring model from Jens F's (RIP Jens) beautiful shop in Penn Yan many years ago from my parents and it is one of the most cherished gifts that I ever received. The Jigging addiction took priority once the sharp zebras invaded Cayuga (plus my 4-stroke trolls a bit faster than I like), but one of these days I'll dust off the box and try again. Glad to send you a couple twin minnows Joel if you want to try them out. Have fun!
  15. Nice new ride Mark, wishing you many tight lines in the future!

  18. Garmin PS30 Panoptix transducer, like-new, in perfect working condition, complete with transom mount, manual, etc. It has been used only once for a few minutes, priced to sell at $1250. Will gladly deliver if you're reasonably close to the Elmira/Binghamton/Ithaca area or will ship UPS (with tracking provided) for an extra, flat $20 fee.

  20. You're right Les (paint job), I should get the airbrush busy on the rest but don't use them enough anymore to justify it. Busy pouring plastics, building rods, and painting jigheads instead these days!
  21. Same here, I collected them for years beginning as a kid, and still have my grandfather's and dad's huge collection. Mostly jig now, but will dust off the victrola again someday. I mostly used the black with white belly, just deadly!
  22. Thanks Bill, pm sent
