  1. Jigged-up 11#7oz Cayuga brown caught by my neighbor last weekend... Good luck to everyone in the LOU-all, maybe next year I'll make it!
  2. Congrats & way to go Splitshot! ...that's one nice fish! (What are the odds -- that's three derbies almost in a row over the past couple of years there all with 13.3# winning lakers.)
  3. Thanks Scott, I just wondered if any were showing up yet. We spent the day monkeying with the road (grading/gravel) so I didn't get a chance to toss a minnow. Noticed that the water temp was still around a cold 43 deg., so maybe they'll be a hair late this spring. who knows...maybe this weekend will be different! thanks again, Mike
  4. ...any perch showing up out front yet RR? Checked off the dock quickly last Saturday and found no signs of life. Noticed some bait and lakers moving in (finally), 100' give or take. Shouldn't be long now!
  5. Congrats Scott! Sounds like it was a great time, great weather too! Wish I could have attended and met everyone, but had to hit the road home early afternoon on Sat. (Next year!)
  6. Congratulations Dan (and family)! ...don't worry, he's got a couple of years to go before becoming "invasive"! Enjoy every moment, Mike
  7. Nice fish! Way to go Scott!
  8. Beautiful fish RR :!: Hoping to get the boat in soon and dunk some jigs (er, I mean pull some copper!), that is if the docks are still visible!
  9. Just curious Kayakshoe, how was the icefishing at Keuka this year? I use to jig and chase tipups (20yrs. ago) across from the college in the Willow Grove area, the perch action could be unbelievable at times! Live a couple hours away, so it's always hit or miss guesstimating ice conditions there, unless it's an obvious frigid winter! Maybe next year...?
  10. Cayuga County Camping info with maps: http://www.tourcayuga.com/accommodation ... ry=Camping (Black Rock and Twin Oaks are likely the closest to Long Point.)
  11. Here's a few listed on http://www.tourcayuga.com/recreation/re ... ry=Camping Sites relatively close to Long Pt: Black Rock Campsites (maybe 2mi. away) Ledyard Road King Ferry, NY 13081 315/364-7262 Cayuga Marina & Campgrounds 5721 River Rd. Cayuga, NY 13034 315-252-5754 Twin Oaks Campground Rd. 1, Fire Lane 14, Lake Rd. off Rt. 90 Cayuga, NY 13034 315/889-5189
  12. ...that's right, it's copper-only Scott!
  13. Count me in, plus a probable first mate - looking forward to meeting everyone! (Another Long Pt./August vote here too.)
