    I should also mention if you want quantity, for instance a whole spoon hanger full of spoons or whole boxes of flys they will be discounted considerably beyond the 50% of retail. I would rather deal with that kind of purchase rather than piecing stuff out. Everything for sale will be proven fish catching patterns. No junk. Thanks for looking Glen

    I'm retiring from my charter business and have been fishing Lake Ontario for 25 yrs. Many productive patterns you can no longer get as well as the latest and greatest "Hot stuff" My boat is at Mikes Marina east off CR 40 (the road to the Mexico public launch) and I will be selling all my salmon fishing tackle tomorrow Saturday the 9th and Sunday the 10th and the sale will go from 5:00 until about 7:00 from my cleaning station. All tackle will sell for 50% of retail and I have pretty much anything you want. What ever doesn't sell I will post here over the winter, Reel Adventure Charters and my name is Capt. Glen Gervais. As soon as you pull in the parking lot you will see my sign right in front of you. Thanks and hope to see you there. Tight lines and the fishing in the Bay is hot right now.

    I have 4 10 packs of atomic cut bait with tails for sale at 1/2 price. Never been thawed and will last 2 more years at least if kept frozen. Also a box of Tom's cut bait rigs with John King heads at 1/2 price. I'm retiring from the business and would like to see these go to someone who will use them.     I have 5 of these reels for sale. They have been completely gone through by Tuna Toms reel trouble and have not seen the water since. All worn parts replaced and upgraded to tournament drags. Two are loaded with 1000 + ft of Malin 30 lb test wire and two are loaded with unused 40 lb pink ande mono and the 5th reel is still empty. If you are interested and in the Mexico area I'm here for another couple weeks. If you need to have them shipped you have to wait until my salmon season is done. 2 reels loaded with 60 bucks of wire are 180.00 each. 2 reels with ande and empty reel are 160.00 each. Picture of 3 reels as the other two are in my boat as spares but identical. Also if you are in the Mexico area I have a **** load of tackle, everything you need to chase brown trout, Lake trout and Salmon, rods and reels for sale. Would take me a couple months to list which I'll do over the winter but I'm open for a sneak preview if your in the area. Glen at 413 519-3019.     Basically you need to know how to catch fish that aren't biting and make sure your clients have a good time no matter what the fishing is. Do these two things and you will succeed. Best of luck!!

    Use Ande 40 lb. No problem with the knots over 30 lb and less flea problems on the leader

    65 lb braid backer to copper, 25 ft leader of fluorocarbon from copper to lure. 20 lb for spoons or plugs 30 to 40 lb leader for flasher flys.

    Without reading all the responses to this post, fishing the salmon river area I've been seeing more two year old fish maturing every year for the last 10 years or so. It's not a lack of bait situation causing a lower weight thing its two year old fish maturing. Period.

    I have had that happen a couple times on some Okuma roller rods in the past. Upgraded to Shimano Talora roller rods probably 15 years ago and never had it happen again. Very little friction with the roller rods and the wire lasts a long time if it;s not damaged or kinked otherwise.
