  1. I liked my old 582 better than the 585 I run now.
  2. As of now the last 3 47's are all spoken for pending payment. Still have 3 of the 27's like brand new for $70.00 ea. The reels with the copper reel trim. 5 of the gold trim 27's for $60.00 ea. Slight boat rash perfect working condition.
  3. I remember the old days when people caught fish because they were good fishermen. A down speed and temp unit is just another tool. Does it help, yes. It is essential, absolutely not.
  4. Yes and yes. It was during the typical low water winter draw down. I don't remember the edge of the water being beyond the end of the dock though if thats what you mean. My trailer tires did not drop off anything. But then again I will get my little 16 footer in anywhere I want to get it in no matter how low the water is. LOL
  5. I launched a 16 ft aluminum out of Deans in January a couple seasons ago without a problem. Just couldn't use the dock. LOL It didn't get any shallower on the way out.
  6. They are supposed to go that way when retrieving. Letting out goes from 1 to 9.
  7. Been running Scottys since 1994 off the back of the weight. Never had any reason to change.

  14. All reels are in perfect working condition. Most are spooled with 20 lb backing to a couple hundred ft of 12 lb Ande to 10 lb fluorocarbon leaders. Line is fresh but I would change out the leaders. Looks like some of these reels are faded in the pictures. Sorry about that, it was the light. They are not faded. 47's 2 Accudepth plus $50.00 ea 2 Sealine SL47LC5 $70.00 ea like new never fished. SOLD PENDING PAYMENT One is spooled with 65 lb power pro thats never been in the water. 1 Sealine SG47 LCA $60.00 like new condition I never fished this reel but it was loaded with leadcore when I bought it. I was told the drags have been upgraded with carbon fiber washers. back up for sale 5 Sealine SG27LC3B $70.00 ea Very little to no use like new condition 2 sold pending payment 3 left 4 Sealine SG27LC $50.00 ea Good working condition boat rash SOLD PENDING PAYMENT 5 Sealine SG27 LCA $60.00 ea. Light boat rash. These are my personal favorites of the Sealine series.

  17. I upgraded all my trout reels to Tekotas and am selling a bunch of Diawas. Prices will range from $40.00 to $70.00 depending on age and use. Here are some of the $70.00 reels. and I can post up details and pictures of the others tomorrow if there is interest.
  18. When I fished the Finger Lakes I ran 65lb braid on my slide divers with a 50 ft 20 lb fluorocarbon leader. Clamped the diver on the 20 leader with 5 or 6 feet of 10 lb fluorocarbon from the barrel swivel to the lure
