  1. Simple fix...... Buy Scottys.
  2. She liked the Beretta. Done deal. Thanks for your opinions and advice.
  3. Thanks. We will be checking the gun out on Saturday. If it fits her hands she will shoot and purchase the 92.
  4. Hi guys. Looking at picking one up for my wife for target shooting. Anybody got one that would care to comment on it good or bad? Thanks.
  5. OK thanks. I am looking for the original tape. hope I can still find it.
  6. Your sure? The crushed "ice" glow I have seen in tackle is not the original plain crushed glow. I need to order some but not if it's different. Thanks for your response.
  7. No regular crushed glow for the pro trolls?
  8. Convectors are a good mid grade reel. I run some cores and coppers on them. I've upgraded the drags on most of them. Got a couple of 6.2 : 1 high speeds but I haven't run them yet. Good luck
  9. $22.00 bucks extra per reel is a reasonable price for the drag upgrade. Probably about what you would pay for the drag washers and it's already done for you
  10. Thanks. Merry Christmas Hank. Wifey wouldn't let me fish today.
  11. That must of hurt..... A little.
  12. In Lake Superior. All 29 of her crew members were lost. Great video and music. Crank it up. http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=...7E53BB6DE3D20F
  13. Never heard of fogging a 4 stroke. Some manufacturers don't even recommend fogging the cylinders like you are doing. (my last Honda) Read the owners manual and if you don't have one get it online. Complete winterizing instructions will be found there.
  14. Steve if you happen to get any good pictures of the Lake I would appreciate if you could email some to me. Thanks The Lake vision camera in Oswego is f'd up
  15. The fact you found the board floating in the lake is probably a good indicator it might not be a good idea. LOL I use the dacron line with no issues. Otherwise I'd probably go with the heavy braid like mentioned above if your not happy with the dacron.
  16. Did you fish the east end of the lake this fall? Slayed um pretty good did ya?
  17. \llHey Steve, Hope you are well. I'm still at the same dock and sold the Wellcraft a couple years ago and bought a Penn Yan Competitor. From this morning. And it was still coming down when we left at 11:00
  18. Couple inches and still coming down. 6:45 am
  19. Snow and ice chased me in off my nice hot campfire in Mexico about 9:15 pm. Maybe a 1/4" on the deck now at 11:30.
  20. We hit very few in the lake this past season but thats not unusual as the Lake never set up good for them in my area and north. The few we hit were very healthy fish. Thick and strong. Also a handful of small ones fishing for Browns last spring in the Bay. Hope you get into a few soon.
  21. Thank God for that push of fish last week. Not much behind them. Very few Steelhead in the river now after talking to a reliable source today, although I've seen some inflated numbers on the internet, Just got chased off my nice hot fire by snow/ice in Mexico. Happy fishing!
  22. Thats the way I see it as well. It would have to be a damn good and long run to make up for the last month and a half of very few fish. At least the egg take should be up to par.
  23. Not much of what this guy posts is true or accurate Brian. It's a pattern here.
  24. Again YOUR Opinion. No facts to back it up and thats what you accused Thrillseeker of doing when he made a statement that didn't coincide with your agenda. Bottom line is money, Ma as well as NY
  25. The Cod were decimated by Gill netters and Draggers. Large commercial operations. NOT by Charters or recs fishing with rod and reel. Even though their take was limited to 200 lbs they still took Cod while fishing for Haddock and dumped dead Cod overboard, They were within the law. Laws and regulations that were set by "their" DEC. Just one more example from those you hold in such high regard.
