This is the ONLY method to make a positive ID between Kings, Cohos and Hybrids as per NY DEC fisheries Biologists.
This techique is performed before ANY records are officially awarded
Thanks for the kind words Ron.
Was a pleasure having you guys on board.
Looking forward to seeing you again next season and don't forget about those early spring Brown Trout I was telling you about.
Cold weather and HOT fishing.
Safe and happy off season.

Owner 2x size 2 will work.
I use them on tournament ties or when Coho are around.
Owner 2x size 1 when specifically targeting Fall Kings.
Good luck

That must have been his lucky fishing shirt.
All I know is I don't remember him dropping a fish out of more than a dozen shots in three days.
Good man on the net also.
Helped me out alot.

Fishing in the Bay is just phenominal with plenty of large Kings and some trophy class Coho.
Fish preference is changing from day to day but white ibn the early morning and green, chrome and chartruse putting fish in the box after the sun comes up.
Plugs and spoons are taking some fish but the flasher and flys have been our bread and butter.
Last weeks trips.
Three guys from MA. for three days.
Some nice folks from PA for a short trip.
The lake gives up another quick limit of quality Kings on Thursday.
Good fishing
Glen
I've had many days that a fly was hit so many times there were only a few strands of material left on it and it was still catching fish.
I believe the fish were hitting the beads.
I've also had many days that a white fly with white beads wasn't taking many shots and replaced it with a white fly with green beads and they were slamming it.
I'm a firm believer that bead size and color make a big difference in catch rates.
Raven made a good point regarding weight effecting action as well.
Speed and leader length also have alot to do with it.

Your boat misses you .....I'm tied up two slips away now !
Nice....
Be good to meet you.
Haven't fished in a couple of weeks but will be on the water for the next month or so.
A lot of stuff I had to do to get the business started that I couldn't do from up there.
Plan on being on the water for the next month or so.

Nobody can tell you why a boat is priced low on the internet that they have never seen.
There are hundreds of reasons a boat could be priced low.
Only advice I can give you is before you buy a boat, have a survey done form a reputable party.
It's not hard to have to drop 10 g's into a boat you paid 3 or 4 g's for.
A survey is a few hundred.
Be careful and save yourself a lot of grief.
Good luck.

Got 9 Ugly sticks on the boat for Browns, some are 12 years old, a couple are two years and a couple last year when they raised the rod limit to 3 rods per man. 8 '3" 2 pc. light action
No problems.
Will be buying 2 more for next spring.
Glen
You thread them on the leader so they slide down to the head of the fly?
I slide the beads on the leader to the hook eye then slide the fly body on.
You want the beads inside the fly body.
