  1. Never had that problem Nick but every once and a while you need to tighten the belt using the belt tension adjuster as the new belts stretch a bit. Once the belt stretches a time or two they set in and stay put after that. Give it a try and see if it works for you. Glen
  2. Running Scottys since 1994. Don't have any negatives to speak of. Probably the two things that bother me the most is the sight windows fog up on occasion and if you bring up a plastic bag or weeds on the cable it will slide the auto stop beads down the cable when the weeds get caught in the front roller. It only takes a couple seconds to open the top cover and wipe the sight window clean and if your in weedy or debris filled areas you just got to keep an eye on the cable coming up. Very minor. The riggers are strong, trouble free and just keep on fishing. Good luck Glen
  3. YA..... On squeaky door hinges. Works great. Glen
  4. You can't make everybody happy all the time Nick. Relax and enjoy. I learned from my tournament fishing it doesn't matter what the rules are somebody will ****. All tournaments are not for all fishermen and they never will be. Glen
  5. Not yet. Passed the tests, got the drug test today and just got to finish the paper work and get the form for the drug test back from the lab then send it to Sea tech. They will review it and send it to the Coastguard. Won't be long now I guess.
  6. Nope but thanks. Got to be type 1 Thanks for the info Nick. Glen
  7. Spray on slimy grimy and hit it with a pressure washer Scott. Safe for the environment as well. Glen
  8. Great tournament Tom. Well run and the Spoonfed Team really enjoyed it. Glen
  9. Need 6. Anybody have any to get rid of? Thanks Glen
  10. Thanks for the correction Mortigan. Some reason I was thinking next weekend for the start. Post up if you get a definate clarification on if it's 20 or 25lbs for the summer session as the 20 lb fish on the board would suggest it's 20. Thanks Glen
  11. You were probably looking at the spring leader board as the summer derby hasn't started yet. I know in the fall session the minimum weight is 25 lbs. Have to check the rules for the summer weight. I would think it would stay at the 20 lb mark but 100% not sure. Glen
  12. Nice job Split.
  13. Friend of mine put some bucket seats out of a car in his 21 ft Crestliner. They worked out suprisingly well, very comfortable and looked good. A good boat seat will cost you big bucks. Good luck. Glen
  14. I run 4 identical rigger weights off the 4 riggers. You start mixing different weights and thats when you get problems. Four of the same weight will track the same. I run 4 riggers off an 8 ft beam and can't remember the last time I've had trouble. I run four of the Atomic 13 lb torpedo weights with the probe on the back corner and it works great. Your probe rigger will have a bit more blowback but it doesn't effect the performance OR the catch rate. Good luck Glen
  15. Nope. To gay. just kidding. Glen
  16. Happy birthday Tim. Glen
  17. I don't think they would be as good as yours Ray but let me take a look and we will see.
  18. Please send the above mentioned charts to the address I pmed you and I would be happy to verify there authentisity.
  19. Tom I just payed you via pay pal for tournament entry and big fish. How do you want me to get you the the team information? Also there was a $6.00 shipping fee. Whats up with that? Thanks Glen
  20. I have 500 ft on an 800 from Atomic. Go to Atomic website and if you can't find the information on how much backing to use give Tom a call and I'm sure he would help you out with the details because I don't remeber exactly what he put on for backing He's a good guy when it comes to helping you out with information. I've never come close to being spooled on the 500 copper and thats with a couple fish better than 30 lbs. You can run the drags a little tighter on the Tekotas because they are silky smooth. Good luck. Glen
  21. I run cannon terminators on all my riggers except the probe. Your cable needs to come in contact with the metal connection on the probe in order for it to send the signal from the probe up the cable. Best advice has already been given. Redo the connection every season whether it needs it or not. When you redo it, put the weight on with no probe, and before you tape it up, and bounce it around a bit to make sure its good. Then inspect it, tape it up and you will be good to go. Glen
  22. Happy Birthday Shawn. Hope it was a great one. Glen
