  1. If you liked it in the 8lb, I don't see any reason not to try the heavier stuff Andy. Glen
  2. Congratulations on a great season as well as the new addition. Glen
  3. I installed the Control king on my Honda last season and it makes dialing in and duplicating the trolling speed pretty easy. It was a good investment. Glen
  4. Should be fine. I run a 25 Wellcraft and 15 hp Honda. The 15 pushes her through anything. And I do mean anything. Glen
  5. From our family to yours. Glen
  6. Nice fish Choo. Thanks for the pictures Glen
  7. Great job as always Tom. Thanks Glen
  8. Sorry guys. FX responded first so I got to give him first shot. Will post as soon as I talk to him on the phone. Thanks Glen
  9. Nikon 3-9 x 40 Matte Brand new in the box. Cost over $200.00. First $100.00 takes it. PM or post if interested. Glen
  10. Happy Birthday Bob. Hope you have a great one. Glen
  11. If you are planning on using this motor for trolling you will be wise to consider a four stroke. Trolling doesn't bother a big four stroke in the least, great fuel economy, quiet ,quiet, quiet and no 2 stroke fumes. Did I mention they are quiet ? Good luck with your purchase. Glen
  12. Very sorry for your loss Split. Thoughts and prayers go out to you. Glen & Kelly
  13. uh.....NK m80's , super mags.
  14. Don't get me involved in this Bullsh_t And as far as the "buy every lure on the shelf so nobody else could get any" is more Bullsh_t. If someone remembers correctly that same person suggested it and it was answered with a WTF are you kidding stare. I bought 4 of those spoons. 2 to replace the two that got bent while releasing fish off the back of the boat and two more as spares because they were hot that day. Didn't do much on tourney day though, we lost. Have a great day. Glen
  15. Very interesting find!!! Congratulations and thanks for the informative and interesting post. Got to admit I was looking for a Salmon or two peeking around the corner of one of the objects. Glen
  16. Sounds good. I'm hoping to do a winter trip or two to Cayuga/Seneca. Good luck if you make it out. We did plenty of trout today but they were on the small side, probably 14 or 15 Rainbows and one Brook Trout.
  17. GOT POWER BACK Dave I fish my local ponds until they ice up or the ramps get snowed in. I usually fish a different pond every weekend. Tomorow morning we will be on Big Alum in Sturbridge. Last Saturday, the day of the storm we were on Lake Buel in Monteray. Glen
  18. Yup, small boat. Still no power. Maybe tomorrow. Going fishing either way.
  19. Was fishing last Saturday when the storm hit. Built fast and hard. Towing the boat home through the mountains of the Berkshires, that already had over 1/2 a foot in a couple hours really sucked but we made it home. No electricity since, hopefully tomorrow maybe Saturday. Glen
  20. Late Birthday wishes Big Dave. No power since last Saturday. Power at work now and maybe at home tomorrow. Glen
  21. As well as doubling the life of the wire, barring any kinks that is. I run Okumas and Shimano Tolaras. The Okumas are OK but the Shimanos are by far the best I've used. If you allow loose wire on the Okumas, it can get caught between the roller and frame. Keep tension on the wire at all times, which should be done anyway, and it's not an issue. Good luck. Glen
  22. Get a fuel/water seperater with one input from tank and two outlets to motors. I run a 2 cycle main and a four stroke kicker this way. Glen
