  2. NIce report Nick. How big were the LL's? Glen
  3. Thank you for all the valuable information you have posted on the topic. Seems like most of the skippers we accidentaly hook are released in pretty good shape. Even in warmer water they are pretty resilient little guys if handled and released correctly. But then again if you are dragging them around the lake until their dead their tough to release and become part of your limit. Or do they? If thats the case perhaps you are using the wrong releases. Glen
  4. Probably be heading out for a couple days to fish Cayuga. Need some lodging near Taugonock launch. Been quite a few years since I been out that way. Any suggestions? Thanks Glen
  5. Thanks Zeke. Anything I can do, being from out of State? Glen
  6. How you doing Sting? I think Tom might be putting up this info for the benefit of new people to the site or guys that are just starting out. This way they are not swayed by misinformation and one warped opinion Right Has Been? How's the river fishing been? Glen
  7. Last spool of 300' I got from Moore Tim. Just recieved the yearly sale thing and didn't see it listed. Maybe you could call them. Also the 300 ft spool thru the counter off on my Scotty about -15 ft at 100. Glen
  8. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe these fish, that we as sportsman pay for, are stocked for purpose of being caught. Catching these fish seems to be very good for the local economys around the lake as well as the ability to pay for these fish to begin with. If the 3 rod rule has detrimental results you 2 rods is OK but 3 would be catastrophic, poor fish crowd can move to have it repealed. Or move to have our license money go to putting a few more fish in the lake instead of going into the States General fund. Cut out the economic benefits and see what your State does for your fishery. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. Glen
  9. Believe me that was not directed at you Hasbeen. We must have hit the send button at the same time. Glen

  21. Boga grip is the best I've used. If I'm fishing C&R it's always best to release the fish off the side or back of the boat without weighing or pictures. Especially once the water warms up. Glen
  22. All depends where the fish are in the water column but I will generally start with 3 riggers and one wire. Attractors and flys and spoons. Then let the rods and the fish finder tell you what or what not to do. Glen
  23. Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Years. Glen
