  1. Perfect. Glen
  2. Actually Richard you misquoted me. I said "you could talk a starving dog off a meat wagon". Talking the ears off a dead dog ain't bad either.LOL See you soon. Glen
  3. Congratulations. Beautiful fish. Glen
  4. I stand corrected. Glen
  5. Thanks Vince, You cast some good karma on Spoonfed this past winter. Means alot coming from the winingest Capt since the proams started. And winingest isn't even a word until know. Glen
  6. Thanks Andy. You guys were outstanding as usual. Congratulations on your accomplishments as well. Glen
  7. And I'm quite sure you guys could do it. Stacked deck and all. Glen
  8. What a dam shame. Could never understand why some people got to do the dispicable things they do to catch a fish or win a tournament. Personally, between takeing a skunk or acting like that give me last place and the skunk. Glen
  9. For LO pick up a few spoons and a few j plugs. Look at reports on here for what colors to get. As a general rule the staging Kings like bright and big. Learn how to catch these fish with the gear you have before you go crazy with junk rods. A couple wire dipsy set ups would be my next investment but it wouldn't hurt to get your riggers going first. Glen
  10. Every year is different. Nobody knows where it will be better. Usually you can't lose in either location but if I were to make that decision I would probably go right between them in Mexico. That way you can run to either if need be. Glen
  11. Would have saved alot of fuel with those extra rods Hasbeen. Would have been very good for the environment. Glen
  12. Would have enjoyed meeting you Woody. Nice job and glad you had fun. Maybe next year. Glen
  13. Nice job Todd and crew. You guys did a great job. Glen
  14. Thanks for the kind words guys. We really appreciate it. The fish Gods smiled on us the second half of the Tourney series and we came across some really quality fish to do well in the LOC as well. Couldn't be happier. The team performed great and like Chris mentioned no mistakes. He's doing a great job running the back of that boat for me which allows me to sit up front and fish. Very helpful. And Richard was a pretty observent observer. It was great to see all you guys at the weigh in and I'm already looking forward to next years series. Heres a couple pictures of some nice fish and the crew. Richards second place Laker before the deepfreeze at 22lbs 7 oz. An 18 lb 8 oz Brown that these rod hogs let me reel in. Not really they didn't let me get it, I jumped on the rod before anybody else could get to it.LOL Only rod I got to in 4 days of fishing and it was the right one. Heres the other Chris on the team with a nice Brown he took for Sundays box. I got two Chrises because I suck at remembering names and this makes it easy on me. Sundays winning box Good fishing. Glen
  15. Chris Yards big salmon taken onboard Spoonfed. Couldn't ask for a nicer fish. Beautiful colors and not a mark on that big fish. Heres the crew. LOC weigh in. Glen
  16. You can't get two wins in different catagories. They will keep the fish on with the highest placing between the two fish and their respective catagories. Glen
  17. Your welcome Cornelis. I really enjoy helping guys just starting out so it's nice to hear you got something out of the day so thank you. Good luck with the fishing. Glen
  18. Great job out there guys. Good meeting you Todd and Mike. Bob, I thought the sticker looked pretty good myself. I got to visit with Hank and didn't cost me anything which was great. See you guys in Sodus. Glen
  19. If you know how to run Flea Flicker it works great. Been running it for about 15 years and would never go without it during flea season. It's more expensive than mono but worth it. Got a very well known charter capt at port that wants me to spool him up a reel this week to try it. He runs 30lb Big Game at present. I'll let you know his honest opinion after the pro-ams are over. With the fish biting and just the wife and I in the boat I got enough to do without clearing friggin fleas off the lines. Glen
  20. Pretty soon you won't be doing anymore "transforming the boat back" Glen
  21. Thanks for the update Zeke. Glen
  22. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family. Glen & Kelly
