Other than the WHI and the Niagara and Orleans tourneys there are NO tournaments that require observers west of Rochester. -

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/12/16/at ... ut-school/ How about Associated Press: http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/U/ ... TE=DEFAULT How about Reuters http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/12/ ... YT20121216 How about ABCnews? – (left wing – I don’t know) http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/20 ... ity-clips/ I looked at the BBC archives but they just quote the AP. Tom B. (LongLine) Hey Tom.....what do you make of this? http://video.today.msnbc.msn.com/today/ ... 5#50208495 Now they are saying that he had 4 handguns in the school and the rifle and shotgun were left in the car. He also tried to buy a rifle a few days earlier and was denied. I hate conspiracy theories but I know what I saw on TV and this report confirms that the entire "assault rifle" story was made up to further the gun ban agenda. Makes you wonder what else is being covered up. -

My 44's pull 400 and 500 coppers with ease. -
Same here! Leaves plenty of room to mov stuff around when you have a stubborn king at the back of the boat and leaves lots of room for junk lines.

I'm not sure you directed this at Vince but he is not on the Committee or one of the "decision makers". The rules currently in place for the Tournaments were set forth by a "Super Committee" after recieving input from some long time particpants. If you want changes your requests should be directed at those in charge. Thanks Vince, for finally getting a straight answer. Now, hopefully, some work can be done. For the record, I don't care for the new format either. However, I'm fishing them anyway because I love to fish tournaments. -
Not sure where you're fishing but Daiwa 27H make great reels for walleyes and browns. Although the line counters are nice to have you can always count level wind passes to know how much line you have out.

I don’t see any human life value difference between Conn & Webster. They are both tragic losses to our society and I hope to God they are never repeated. I also see a striking similarity: It’s spelled B-U-S-H-M-A-S-T-E-R-.2-2-3. I respect & support your right to disagree. Tom B. (LongLine) Tom....I was in a casino playing poker as the CN shootings unfolded. They initially reported that the shooter had 2 HANDGUNS--a Glock and a Sig Sauer and had shot all his victims with those weapons. When a Bushmaster AR15 was found in the shooter's car OUTSIDE the story suddenly changed to a "murder by assault rifle" story because that fit the Liberal agenda better. Since then that is all you have heard. However, the ORIGINAL story was recently brought up again about the shooter's weapons being legal HANDGUNS but the media is keeping it hushed. As far as I am concerned the MEDIA was responsible for the maggot in Webster choosing the weapon he did because of their lies concerning the CN shooter's weapons. If you have proof that the CN scum that killed those kids using the aforementioned Bushmaster (that the Police Chief found in the shooter's CAR) I would love to see it. And please don't quote David Gregory or Piers Morgan or any other Socialist, Facist or Marxist publication. -

Not to be a killjoy here but they are NOT confirmed. Although the dates have been set there has been NO communication whatsoever between Directors and nothing has been done to ensure the tournaments go on as scheduled. We are scheduling a meeting for the Orleans tournament in the next month to hopefully at least get Orleans on line. A LOT of work has to be done for either event to happen at this point. -

Sounds like the perfect blueprint for Socialism or, as you put it with your China comment, Communism. Perhaps you should look for a spot in Odama's entourage----comrade! -

Surpised no one has mentioned the MEDIA in all this. In my opinion, the liberal, panty wasted media is responsible for virtually ALL of the continued violence in this country. If someone gets "picked on" for being "different" and goes home and kills themselves the media jumps on the bullying bandwagon and everyone clamors for "policital correctness". Its become so bad you can't even DISCUSS things like homosexuality, racism and, yes, mental illness, in a public place any more. So....if you can't discuss it, it becomes ignored. And then we have animals like this scum that the media keeps glorifying----who, 20 years ago, would have just put a bullet in his OWN head, now can seek the "glory and fame" by doing something like this. The MEDIA created him by glorifying the last few "massacres". The MEDIA'S political correctness "crusade" allowed him to grow his sickness into pure evil. And now the MEDIA is glorifying him with constant coverage so the next whack job can generate the same kind of evil. When the media stops the constant coverage of these tragedies and people learn to call a spade a spade (again) these disasters will subside. They won't go away---evil will never go away--but at least it won't be "advertised". Off my soapbox! -

That's all fine and dandy Matt, until you get a teacher that becomes unbalanced or emotionally unstable and no one recognizes it until the bullets start flying. Or what if a Rambo teacher hits a kid? I understand what you're saying and I agree but the ramifications and "what if's" have to be considered as well. -

Let's be honest....is there even a committee right now? What would be wise is to take two Pro Captains and two Amateur Captains, maybe one of each from the West and East, to head up a revitalized Pro/Am Committee! If no one is moving forward on the current series, and we all want to fish this style of event, lets just do it! Are you volunteering Rick? -
Great first post Hero! Glad you enjoyed the Pic of Pete's fish!

Absolutely. Its all in the detail of the casting and the painting. Skin mounts get custom cast heads and fins.

Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD. Sometimes less is more......and that's all I'm gonna say about that. -
Where do you "think" you hit him Matt? BTW....just about ANY dog can be used to trail a deer. Keep the dog on a 30-50 foot rope, get him all excited over the arrow at the impact site and let him go. You'll be amazed at what even a "non-hunting" lap dog can do.

Thanks. Nice informative thread. I had almost forgotten about the clandestine, Black Ops, "coyotes for turkeys" program.
