  1. Bob, he could never hide it from me. I could sniff out a jug from a mile away. Its that Jersey redneck Double JJ with the yellow triton that you have to watch out for.
  2. Very nice. What a fish!
  3. Sharkey said the docks are in the way of the launches but they left just enough room to launch between the wall and the first dock. I think he was wandering around there looking for places to stash booze so his wife wont catch him hitting the bottle this summer. lol
  4. Open up duck and goose in Sept. at the same time and close it Febuary1st regardless of the zones. I have a hard time believing that the migration can be predicted very accurately and population can controlled by opening and closing dates the way they do. You have to be a cartographer to see when goose season is open and where. Hardly anyone seems to know exactly when and where it is open. DEC always asks for hunter input but to my knowledge rarely listen to the hunters. Best part of the late season is the very last few days in my observation. Just my observation so take it as you wish.
  5. I think everyone should carry a gun onboard. Arm everyone. Mid day lows could be offset with a wharf rat shoot! Bag of popcorn, case of ammo, case of beer and that big sea gull calling, beer sluggin, son of a gun from new Jersey and you have some good ole redneck fun. Could you imagine how much fun that would be? Until the coasties showed up.
  6. NICE! If I ever get a free weekend and the weather is condusive...
  7. You got that right. I couldnt agree with you more. I dont mind wind energy though, I just dont like most of the options so far. Your rant was entertaining however, I got the same warm and fuzzy feeling I got when I read YOMOMMA's amnesty package.
  8. Did I see your rig in Watkins Glenn Saturday afternoon? Boat named Red Eyes with Honda outboard with kicker and a pickup with some painting related name on the side.
  9. I know where a nice freshwater 27 foot Searay Amberjack Hardtop with full dual stations and bridge is. Right here in NY. Owner may be looking to upgrade soon May also have a wife looking for a new husband too.
  10. Does it have a safety lanyard? Check that. Make a jumper wire and bypass it.
  11. Not sure where the canal ramp is but the south end where the boat tours go out of was free and clear of ice. I was up there at a swim meet today and had to go look at the lake. It was a great day to be out. No ice whatsover around the docks there.
  12. MUSKY, I DAMN SURE HAVE A FISHIN BOAT THEN> TWO MEN AND BOTH MY BOYS!
  13. Heres one in OHIO. Priced right 10 foot beam w/ twin 6's http://www.boattrader.com/listing/1987- ... K-95233475
  14. LOL. I would be a bit distracted if she helped "glass" a boat
  15. interlux site has some great how to videos. I am waiting for decent weather to glass the new transom in my kids boat.http://www.youtube.com/user/JamestownTV ... FmtbZu_5no
  16. MADE MY DADS DAY PETE! He is a huge SYRACUSE fan!
  17. CONGRATULATIONS. It should be a enjoyable process getting your ride setup. Unless you have big bucks, dont expect to have her completely rigged overnight. It takes a few years. I still dont have my ride outfitted the way I wanted it, but I am getting there. Have fun and welcome!
  18. AWESOME JOB! Glad to help. I admire you taking your boy out and along with you. I take my boys and I know how much extra work it can be. I wouldnt trade the times for the world though.
  19. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
  20. We used to go to Fish creek off of Oneida lake for the opener. Fishing really slowed down for us there over the years. We used to stay at tokasoke camp grounds or something like that. Man there were some beers flowing at night around the camp fire in those days. Great time.
  21. Awesome, I wish those "yaks" were common when I was younger. Great job being out there and not sitting around on your arse watching tv and playing video games all day. I bet you are an interesting and likeable young man. Be careful and make sure you use your head when it comes to safety. I like to see that your ride is yellow. Easier to see.
  22. Congrats on getting back in the game. Glad for ya!
  23. Hornady single stage 007 for sale. Used very little. A few dies, books and tools go with it. Make a reasonable offer
  24. I have done a few boat floor repairs before. This seems to be pretty easy so far. The transom will be easier than I thought. I am going to try to install a permanent plastic gas tank and plumb it in so we dont have to deal with a gas can under foot. We will try to keep the pics coming. hopefully of better quality too. The boys are pretty excited about the project. Stay tuned....
