  1. Very nice buck. Especially for a first deer. It is better than my first buck! Way to go guys.
  2. Great buck Eric!! Ethan, way to go. Nice deer and sounds like you made a great shot. Great to have all of you together to share it.
  3. What a slob
  4. Chowder, I shoot grim reapers and had good luck with them.
  5. L&M, not knockin it, I love the small towns like McDonough. Great place to grow up. These small towns are going to become more and more desirable places to raise a family.
  6. Good to hear Rick. Watching the nurse is the best sign of progress.
  7. Great deer and a great job. Ray, you could start a first deer story thread. Everybody remembers there first deer. It would be interesting. Maybe a picture too.
  8. EXCELLENT CHOWDER! Great story and a job well done. Would that be the McDonough general store or the Smithville general store? Great we live in an area that still has general stores. gotta love it.
  9. Chowder, too bad we cant just shoot a couple of those repeat tresspassers! That would get the message across. Really pisses me off. I could have a lot more extra things if I didnt buy property so I could have the luxury to walk out my back door and hunt. There are thousands of acres of really good state land where I live that is within 10-15 minutes drive also. Really pisses me off when they brag to others that they will hunt anywhere they please.....
  10. Thanks for the offer Chowder. I have a couple of wildlife consultants from New Jersey already on the job.
  11. That is a damn shame. What a buck
  12. Pete, I will even give the chowder an attempt if you let your wife sit on my lap!!!
  13. wow what a buck. What was the spread on that? Congratulations!
  14. Thanks Guys. Pete there are just as big of bucks on my hill. We just havent figured the property out yet. Whole different lay of the land and approach. I have been stomping around on the family farm since I was born and know the property and how the animals use it intimately. In a couple more years I will own it.
  15. Chowder, I took him on my parents farm in Greene. Bob, I already ate half of the loins. I will save some venison for the Red Dock in the spring. The boys are like wolves with venison, I will have to hide it.
  16. I was fortunate enough to harvest this 10 pt. buck on opening day. 165 pounds dressed 18 inch inside and rough scored about 140.
  17. What a nice deer. Congratulations!
  18. You just stand on one of the three street corners in my home town during deer season and you could witness that scene often. The only difference is a guy (or gir) l from my home town could smoke a cigarette and have a beer in hand also.
  19. Thoughts and prayers for your father and family Rick
  20. Happy birthday Bob. I will have to hoist one in your honor. I will also buy you a few Red and Whites on the Red Dock in the spring.I just might have a few aboard.
  21. Nice job Eric. Watch the background in those pics. Someone might catch on that there are nice eyes in PA. HA! Glad to see Ethan smackin them to.
  22. Love my scotties. To be fair, my big jons were older ones so it is not making a fair comparison. I liked my old big jons too and I really loved Big Jons customer service, but I have to say scotty gets the nod for me.
  23. Good news!!!!
  24. Very nice. Trophy fish on Cayuga. Good job. Never fished Cayuga this late. Like Billy said bow season. PWWAANG!
  25. Thanks Billy I will. Musky, like my father used to tell me regarding getting paid, "I gave him dinner"
