I love the volvo outdrives. I think they are just about bullet proof. Pricey for parts but I never had to replace anything on my Volvo Penta. Gotta love the hydrol shift. My new to me boat has Mercs and I think those are the next best thing.
Nice job. I appreciate the pics because I was wondering how and where to mount an arch and where to put my planer board reels. You have it laid out nicely.
Hey Bob looks like you swiped that from a boat in Osceola Good job Bud! Eric, I think you should have stuck with your original career plans in engineering. Well done
Nice deer. Surprised you weren't walleye fishing. The PA antler restrictions must be working. My wifes stepfathers group took three 8's and a six between five hunters on Monday. Good luck with Ethan getting a buck. Keep us posted.
Thanks for the share Jeff. She is a seasoned angler already. She new exactly what to do, especially with a dipsey which can be tricky for kids. Great job to both of you.
Nice rig. Excellent find. I will miss my Volvo outdrive. My new rig has mercs which are excellent also. However, you can't beat the way those volvo's shift with the hydrolic shift. They are bullet proof.
WOW! WHAT A BUCK. SURE IT WAS NOT IN PIKE COUNTY ILLINOIS? That young man will remember that deer forever. Good job including him in the experience with the rest of the hunters. I took my boy out Sunday afternoon for a couple of hours and it was funny to watch him "walk the walk" and "talk the talk" with everyone else. I let him carry his .410 (he's 9) and he wanted to shoot at a bunch of turkeys.
I have a camp on Cayuga Lake towards the North end. We get some good shooting there in the late season. Lots of blacks mallards and divers. Give me a heads up if you head up there this year.
