  1. Yes it has a full bridge fishtails. I dont know how much I will use the bridge. It has full instrumentation on the bridge which might come in handle. She has about 1000 hours on her twin 5.7 mercs. Twin 100 gallon fuel tanks each are going to hurt to fill and stay filled. That boat is heavy! I cant wait to rig it and put it in the water.
  2. Glad to hear you got into some fish Bob. I wish I was on the dock having a cold one with ya too. I will be up fishing with Pete aboard ON THE LAM this weekend. You going to up this weekend?
  3. Thanks guys. I got this boat from the Syracuse area it was last on the St. Lawrence river. Eric, I dont have storage yet. I may build a temporary structure around it for this winter. It is in my side yard for now. It wont fit in my parents barn! I will post some better pics soon.
  4. Sea Ray Amberjack 270 Hardtop Traded in my old ride. Here is my boat ready to rig!
  5. Musky Bob, I had a great time meeting you and sluggin' some beer back with you guys. I always look forward to at least one afternoon blow off day at the docks. Were going back up again Wednesday or Thursday night until Sunday. Might be my last trip in my present boat. See you again soon.
  6. Welcome to the board. Maybe I will bump into you up at Wights Landing.
  7. If it has points and is turning over but no spark, I would then file the points with a couple of swipes with your wife/girlfriends emery board to then see if you have spark. If you do, I would still replace the points. I would also replace the distributor cap. Make sure they are marine points. If you still have no spark take it to a marine mechanic.
  8. Thanks for the report Billy. What caused that main fuse to blow in the first place?
  9. Traveling man, give me a call if you are still interested. 607-656-4908
  10. It is at the camp on Cayuga Lake. North end. I sent you a PM
  11. Green flashers with green peanut flies have been doing well.
  12. I have big jon electrics and have many years of great service from them. However, after fishing on a friends boat with scotty's a few times, I am going Scotty's also. Big Jon's customer service is awesome by the way.
  13. That must have been a blast by yourself. The netting can get tricky by yourself. Good job.
  14. Eric, what are you looking for in a camper?
  15. Great job Eric. Looks like you had a blast.
  16. One of the nastiest waves I have been on were on Seneca in April.
  17. Great job Bill. I am not suprised. You guys make a great crew. Tell Eric I have his sign ready.
  18. I didnt actually fish this weekend, we just cruised around. I did talk to a realiable source that said the fishing has been really good North. Around Frontenac area. Lots of Browns and nice rainbows. He did really well Sunday a.m. I wasnt able to get any more info. If I talk to him again I will let you know.
  19. Nice boat. I am glad it all worked out for you. I will keep my eye out for you on Cayuga.
  20. I also had the pleasure of using the chamberlain releases this weekend for the first time. They are slick to say the least. I will be replacing my blacks with them. Love the way you can trip them easily yet still have good tension on the business end. They will be handy with the little guys on Cayuga lake
  21. We went on a search mission Saturday afternoon way west and never saw much bait or fish. Pete put together a smart plan for Sunday am.
  22. Had the pleasure of fishing aboard THE ON THE LAM III this weekend. Petes new ride is awesome! Had a blast putting blood on the deck. Managed some nice browns Sunday a.m. Saw a deer swimming around the marina which was odd. Thought I had too many cold ones for a minute. All spoon bites: sister sledge, mixed veggie, alewive imitations, etc. Changing lure colors as the sun came in and out seemed to help. Riggers, copper, and copper off the boards all targeting around the 35'-45' foot range over 55'-75' FOW. key temp was as warm as we could find which was around 60 degree surface temp and 47-49 degree down 35'-45' Down speed was around 2.0-2.3 Pictures are not good due to only having cell phone camera. Picture kind of explains where we were fishing. It looks like we were way out but we were in pretty close.
